The tree decoration "Bird of Paradise" bauble is individually cast in brilliant white Meissen porcelain and then painted by hand by the manufactory's artists. In bright colours, a majestic bird of paradise proudly presents its impressive plumage. In the baroque era, it was said that the fantastic birds remained suspended in the air all their lives and never touched the earth. For this reason, the birds of paradise developed into a symbol of lightness and closeness to God. The tree decoration "Bird of Paradise" is accompanied by a butterfly on the back of the bauble, whose representation, due to its three stages of life, has embodied resurrection and thus new beginnings since antiquity. In harmony with the new year, the tree decoration "Bird of Paradise" bauble is a truly special gift.
