Good morning all, i don't have a card for you today but i have put a few piccies on of my crafty corner. I love looking at all your craft rooms on your blogs, some of your craft room/dens are amazing (she says green with jealousy). You might have read that i dragged the gang to Ikea on Thursday, for some much needed storage for my craft things. Well i got a fab white unit which holds lots and lots, I've still got the two bottom draws empty so i can buy more goodies ( don't tell hubby) LOL. I also saw this fab chair, i always used a dining chair before with cushions on, but as soon i i saw this and sat on it i had to have it, it's so comfy. The cupboard we have had for years but that too came from Ikea, Mark bought it to put his computer in, but when we redecorated the lounge we had built in units made, so i got the cupboard, which i love because you can just shut it all away when you want to. Hope you enjoyed looking at my little crafty corner Take care ta ta
I have lots of scraps. And a young daughter who absolutely neeeeeeeds to be with me when I am working in my crafty corner. So I pulled out the scraps. Cut it into small pieces. Outlined a butterfly on thick paper and gave little girl a glue stick. After we cut out the butterfly neatly. This is how happy a 4 year old gets when she can craft with mama. And this is how proud a Mama gets when her daughter has created a beautiful scrappy butterfly like this; 1. She praises her daughter until she can't take any more praise 2. She brings out the camera to do a great photo shoot of the process and the result 3. She just has to share it with the world. 4. And last but not least the art has to be show cased in the little girl's bedroom. This was great fun! Kärlek Annette

The girls and I share office space, actually, the office is one of the most used spaces in our house. I spend all of my time editing, paying bills, checking grades, etc. in the office. The boys do homework in the office. Russ catches up on work in the office and all of the girls toys find a home there. My office was in need of a good organizing and toy removal....it was first on the list for 2014. I started my cleaning out my files and getting all of my items organized and under control. Once I finished my side it was on to the toys. The girls spend most of their time crafting, coloring, doing puzzles, and I can't forget playing with play doh. I wanted the girls to have an area where they could get to all of their supplies without having to go into cabinets and closets. Since they had outgrown the plastic kitchen and a few other toys I rearranged and created a craft area....now they have a place of their own! It has worked out fabulously and we can all enjoy the office at the same time! I just thought I would mention the table and chairs is from IKEA and the metal baskets are from Home Goods. There is so much fun stuff out there for quick projects! Hope you enjoyed your visit, thanks for stopping by.
