I made my own DIY soap rocks, and discovered some tips and techniques to make them more realistic than some of the other tutorials out there.
This colorway of hand-poured, vegan, organic, small batch soaps is reminiscent of the hard, angular striking granite rocks found in nature. With a blend of clear, deep black and rich tones of various grays, this is a statement addition to any modern bath or kitchen. These handmade soaps are colored with natural mica powders and made from a base of pure glycerin, vegan soap base. I use a few drops of organic eucalyptus essential oils to give each crystal shaped soap a very light but invigorating scent. The look of these soaps is reminiscent of geodes and agates and inclusions in rocks and crystals we find in the world. These luxurious bath soaps have low to medium suds so therefore last a very long time, and stay in the form of the crystal in your soap dish. The colorways also stay vivid and strong as you enjoy the soap. I make these soaps by hand, myself, in a big kitchen on a small island outside of Seattle, WA. I make very small batches so I can ensure high quality of the finished product, and so I can control the colorways of each crystal bar of soap. I enjoy creating new palettes and am always introducing new colors. These hand crafted bars of soap are the perfect gift of luxe - for the hostess, new mom, new dad, housewarming, cocktail gift and more. Each soap is hand wrapped in multiple layers of sustainable packaging including recyclable tissue paper, honeycomb padding and cotton twine with a beautiful, colorful tag. They are gift giving ready! I hope to instill a sense of awe and wonder in everything I create, and the name of my studio, "Wonder Craft Workshop" strives to share this love of creativity and curiosity. ✨ Dark Luna Moth Shimmering Soap 🌙✨ I have created these lovely soaps with a recipe using Shea Butter, vegetable glycerin and sustainable Palm Oil among other ingredients. A creamy blend that bubbles and foams well but leaves skin soft. It’s the soap recipe I use to make all the soaps my family uses. ✨ Each bar of soap is approx. 4” and has been scented in subtle Chamomile. If you prefer an unscented soap, please add a note in the “Message to Seller” box when you check out and I can unscented it for you as my soaps are handmade to order. Each of the soaps are dusted with a special blend of cosmetic grade/professional soap making micas which give them an iridescent finish. They can vary slightly depending on the micas I have available at the time, but rest assured, it will be beautiful nonetheless. ✨ I use professional photography equipment and natural lighting which makes things appear brighter at times depending on the color of the object. Only for external use - not to be used around the eyes, mucous membranes or on damaged skin.
