El nuevo edificio ha sido concebido por Ibuku, un estudio de arquitectura local dirigido por Elora Hardy, que cuenta con una larga trayectoria de arquitectura de bambú, en colaboración con Atelier One para el diseño estructural y con Jörg Stamm para el diseño conceptual. Se trata de un gran pabellón de 760 m2, con una liviana estructura orgánica inspirada en el cuerpo humano, en la forma de su caja torácica.
