Written into a footnote by the “straight photography” school of the 1950s, William Mortensen was referred to as “the Antichrist” by Ansel Adams, a tag that stuck after Anton LaVey dedicated The Satanic Bible to him. Primarily known as a Hollywood...

Thanks for your understanding and I hope you enjoy my pattern :) How I came to write this pattern is sort of a personal joke so I won’t really go into it but for those of you who are unfamiliar, Makka Pakka is this little character below and he is from the BBC kids show “In the Night Garden” (please note this image and video do not belong to me): Techniques/Abbreviations: Magic ring Single crochet (sc) Increase (inc - 2 sc in same stitch) Invisible decrease (dec - sc together the front loops of 2 stitches) Slip stitch (sl st) Stitch/Stitches (st) Back loop only (BLO) Invisible finish off (I use this invisible finish technique demonstrated by Playin Hooky Designs) Round (R1, R2…etc) Instructions within *..* indicate a repeating pattern e.g. “*sc, inc* x 6” means you will sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc. My patterns are written in short/are abbreviated so for example if you see sc 12 this means do 1 sc in each of the next 12 st, or if you see inc 3 this means to increase (do 2 sc) in each of the next 3 st () - indicates the total number of sts for that round note: this pattern is crocheted in continuous rounds so unless I’ve noted otherwise you do not need to join at the end of each round . I Also suggest using a stitch marker to mark the last stitch of each round. You will need: Worsted Weight Yarn in a tan colour (I used Caron Simply Soft in Bone) Crochet Hooks: D/3 – 3.25mm – head, legs, body, arms 2.0mm - stone piles/horns 2x 6mm safety eyes Scrap of dark brown yarn or embroidery thread scrap of felt in white and tan (darker tan than your yarn) Yarn needle stitch markers Stuffing PATTERN: Eyes Tan felt - Cut out 2 circles approx. 12mm in diameter (measurement across the middle) white felt - cut out 2 circles approx. 8mm in diameter fold each circle in half and cut a slit in the middle of the fold (but without cutting all the way through). Then layer one white circle on top of one tan circle and push a safety eye through the slits in the middle of both circles. Do this for the remaining felt circles and safety eye. DO NOT attach safety eye backing! Head Using 3.25mm Hook R1: sc 5 in Magic Ring (5 st) R2: inc x 5 (10 st) R3: *sc, inc* x 5 (15 st) R4-5: sc 15 (15 st) R6: *sc 2, inc* x 5 (20 st) R7-9: sc 20 (20 st) Insert one safety (with attached felt) between rounds 5 and 6. Secure with backing R10: *sc 2, dec* x 5 (15 st) R11-12: sc 15 (15 st) Insert the other safety eye between rounds 9 and 10, inline with the other eye. Secure with backing. Now is also a good time to stuff - Stuff lightly to attain a sort of flattened oval shape! R13: *sc, dec* x 5 (10 st) R14: dec x 5 (5 st) sl st, fasten off leaving a tail. Finish stuffing if required and then thread tail through remaining 5 sts and pull tight to gather. Secure end and thread through stuffing of head to hide. Stone piles (horn looking things on the head) (make 4) Using 2.0mm Hook R1: sc 5 in Magic Ring (5 st) R2: sc 5 (5 st) R3: *sc, inc* x 2, sc (7 st) Sl st, fasten off leaving tail for sewing. Sew to head (stuffing not requried) - one over the magic ring, one over the fasten off and the last one on the top of the head between the eyes (see photo at the top of this post for guidance). Save the 4th stone for the tail! Legs (make 2) Using 3.25mm Hook R1: sc 5 in Magic Ring (5 st) R2: inc x 5 (10 st) R3: BLO this round sc 10 (10 st) R4-5: sc 10 (10 st) For the first leg (LEG 1) - after round 5, sl st and fasten off leaving a tail. For the second leg (LEG 2) - after round 5, DO NOT sl st or fasten off…leave working yarn attached! Body (Worked in continuous round from the legs) Using 3.25mm Hook R6: Starting from LEG 2, sc in next 5 st. Continue to LEG 1 and starting at the fasten off (so tail will be between the two legs) sc around all 10 st. Back on to LEG 2, sc around remaining 5 st (20 st) If needed, you can use the tail to sew closed any holes that may occur between the legs R7: *sc 3, inc* x 5 (25 st) R8: *sc 4, inc* x 5 (30 st) R9-11: sc 30 (30 st) R12: *sc 3, dec* x 6 (24 st) R13-14: sc 24 (24 st) R15: *sc 2, dec* x 6 (18 st) R16: sc 18 (18 st) Stuff legs and body R17: *sc, dec* x 6 (12 st) R18: *sc, dec* x 4 (8 st) Sl st and fasten off leaving a tail for sewing. Sew body to the head. Sew 4th stone pile to the back of the body in the center, just above the legs Arms (make 2) Using 3.25mm Hook R1: sc 5 in Magic Ring (5 st) R2: inc x 5 (10 st) R3: sc 10 (10 st) R4: *sc 3, dec* x 2 (8 st) R5: sc 8 (8 st) R6: *sc 2, dec* x 2 (6 st) R7-8: sc 6 (6 st) Sl st and fasten off leaving a tail for sewing. Flatten end and sew closed then sew to either side of body in the last round To finish him off, using the scrap of dark brown yarn/embroidery thread, embroider on a little mouth ♥ ♥ ♥

As God doesn't tend to show up at many parties and has yet to sign up for a verified Twitter, most humans don't actually know what He (She?!) looks like. Here's a list of artistic representations of God by different religions to help give you a chance of recognizing your master in case he actually does show up to your next barbecue or my upcoming No Doubt Party (TM). Also add your own pictures of what you think God looks like. No wrong answers!

Everyone knows 'Flat Beat', it's arguably Mr Oizo's most recognisable track which spawned a Levi's campaign and saw Oizo chalk-up a fair few number 1's alongside his puppet Flat Eric.
