Comical, cuddly and capricious, Corgis have continued to rule the internet with their various hijinks. While they might seem ridiculous at times, did you know that Corgis were originally the pets of warriors? Yes that’s right, the first breed of these snuggly dogs were brought over to Cardiganshire, Wales by a warrior tribe of Celts around 1200 BCE. Now, over 3000 years later, Corgis seem less like warriors and more like comedians. Pretending to drive cars, sledding in the snow and dressing in ridiculous outfits, these rotund pups have brought many of us countless moments of internet joy. Beyond the web some Corgi enthusiasts love these animals so much they organized a Southern California annual Corgi meet-up. Here at Bored Panda we like to spread the cheer, so we have put together a list of some of our favorite Corgi moments. Don’t forget to up-vote your favorite photos!
Too much love
- Se mi chiamassi, sì, se mi chiamassi. Io lascerei tutto, tutto io getterei.. - If you would call me, oh yes, if you would only call me! I would leave everything, I would throw everything over.. - Si me llamaras, sí, si me llamaras! Lo dejaría todo, todo lo tiraría..

Nowadays, it's pretty common tp give lots of attention for animals in art, but in the past it was different. The subjects of the famous paintings were almost always humans. There's nothing wrong with that, but the great painters of the past are long gone, and it makes us wonder what if animals were the subjects of the famous paintings that we've come to appreciate from art history. Even though this may not be the reality, some digital artists rose to Design Crowd's challenge to try their hand at giving their guess of what it probably would have looked like. Let us present to you some of the select pieces from the aforementioned challenge that we think did their job rather well. As with all art, check it out and judge it yourself!

The Anne Frank House is one of Amsterdam’s most famous attractions and now, after two years of renewal work, it is welcoming “a new generation of visitors”.
This church looks short and squat from the outside and sits uncomfortably in it's little square, bulging, an ugly duckling! The exterior fails to suggest any majesty compared to Vienna's other large palaces of worship such as Stephandom & Karlskirche, but then you go inside! The baroque interior is so busy and heavy with detail that it is impossible to take in what you are seeing. You need to take a picture so that you can study it later and decipher the church's mysteries... or alternatively sit through a very long service!
