This log house in downtown Crested Butte reminded me of the stuff in fairy tales. I even loved the old light under the eaves, although the energy conservationist in me sort of wishes it hadn't been on in mid-day.
The biggest, unexpected, gift of the cabin lifestyle has been learning how to embrace the cycle of the seasons. We now expect these predictable rhythms welcome all the seasons like an old friend.

I'm often asked about the name of our cabin. So as we approach the 2nd anniversary of Pine Daisy House let me share the story.
As we settle into summer and all the relaxation it brings, here are some of our favorite items so we can embrace summer at the cabin!
Sukk!!) Varmen kommer - i juni - sies det. Hold ut :-) Tusen takk for koselige kommentarer og mange besøk. Velkommen igjen. Smil fra Hjørdis
