you must become unshakeable in the belief that you are W O R T H Y of a big life || worthy is a word that has been on my mind for the past few years. it was a word that would rest on my mind, and for a long time i just let it sit there; not truly digging deep into the meaning. and it wasn't until this past year, i realized the weight of the word in my life. finally clicked. for far too long, i had settled. i had settled on life. i had settled on just being good enough. i had settled on my health. and what clicked, was the fact that i was worthy of a BIG life. i was worthy of all the GOOD in life. i was worthy of having a healthy mind and body. of being in a healthy relationship. worthy of that promotion. worthy of that certificate. worthy of going after my dreams. so, i took a step and decided to get a constant reminder on my wrist. along with the word worthy, i wanted to an a semi-colon .. because when life throws you curve balls, remind yourself to stop, take a deep breathe and know that magic is right around the corner, life will go on and good will come. i told my tattoo artist prior to him designing it was; all i want is something thin, dainty, and feminine. and i am pretty certain he nailed it. though i was shaking prior, and during said way too many swear words. the peace that came over me, towards the end was pure. once i looked down, no one could wipe the smile off my face. i gave my tattoo guy, the biggest hug along with my friend. i love that when i am doing my hair, when i am holding a plank, when i am driving, texting, or ringing someone up .. i see the reminder, and the conversations that have come from it have allowed me to share and encourage others. reminder, you are worth all the good things in this world. and hold tight to that. be brave, krislyn.
