(Hyper)Organic: Collage made from archival photographs documenting the construction of Fallingwater. We often discuss the history of architecture as a history of buildings that spring from the head and hand of the architect, but what of the labor power that transforms organic matter into edifice? Forget the hand that draws and remember the hands that move and set stone, cut wood, pour concrete ..... the architectural icon too is a product of social production.
