Bangsilog is one example of the “Silogs” range. It consists of bangus (milkfish), sinangag (garlic fried rice) and pritong itlog (fried egg). Served usually at breakfast, nowadays people eat them anytime of the day. I always have frozen marinated baby milkfish on standby because there are days when the TRIBE is sick of meat or takeaways. This combo is so easy to cook and assemble. Bangsilog in our house is usually served with KSP (one of the versions of Filipino Salsa side dish) and also with a vinegar dipping sauce. INGREDIENTS: 1 pkt of frozen marinated baby milkfish (bangus) 1/2 cup cooking oil Garlic Fried Rice Fried Eggs KSP ~ Defrost the marinated baby milkfish. Drain excess liquid. COOKING PROCEDURE: ~ Heat oil in high in a large non stick frying pan. Place milkfish in opposite direction, side by side. Lower the heat into medium-high setting and cook the fishes till golden brown. ~ Drain in absorbent kitchen paper towels. ~ Place your Garlic Fried Rice first on your plate, lay your Fried Egg on one side, then add your fried baby bangus next to it and then spoon some of the KSP in one of the corners of the plate. Another option is to just present them on individual serving plates and let your family just help themselves. Saraaappppp!!!!! BEST WITH: Sawsawang Pipino, Sukang Iloco with Red Onion & Garlic, Chili & Garlic Vinegar Dipping Sauce, Red onion & Garlic Vinegar Dipping Sauce. NOTES: For individual recipes for Garlic Fried Rice, Fried Egg and KSP, please click the words at the ingredients section. I bought the frozen baby Bangus in Best Friends Supermarket at Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
