I made this colorful activity to review beginning Digraphs with my kiddos. I wanted something different from "sorting", and found this approach with popsicle sticks to be more interactive...so I thought this would be a fun activity to make. Then if I am unable to be at the center to monitor my darlings on accuracy, I have created a practice/recording sheet that corresponds to the cards. You can use it in addition to the cards, or just alone. I have included 20 picture cards (and on the practice/recording sheet there is also the same pictures; 20 of the pictures). The digraphs included are: ch-, sh-, th-, wh- (5 of each). I have included digraph circles, that your students will place onto the cards. You can print simply one of each, or print multiple. Then glue a popsicle stick onto the circle blend for a fun way to enjoy the activity. As your students complete the popsicle digraphs, they can then record their answers on the corresponding recording sheet, which include the same pictures (that can also be colored when they are finished)! Use this as a literacy center during your reading rotations, or incorporate it where you see fit, like with spelling! Hope you like!! **** Be sure to check out my other DIGRAPH activities!! ****
