Let it Glow all Night. You Never Know... What Might Happen Maybe Someone Will See the Light ...comes with white envelope and DOUNOME Outreach's "Keep an Eye" LOGO Sticker; This print is in the original series of DOUNOME Outreach prints ever created; This picture was taken while I was at a convention in Mississippi. It was the night before the Mississippi flood of 1993. I had to stop because the island way in the background looked so beautiful as the sun was setting that night and I had to take it's picture. Little did I know, the lake in front of the island was actually a field that had flooded already from the rains that summer. I drove by the exact spot the following morning on my way to the events of the day, and found that the island in the far distance had washed away and the water receded back to the field it was once before.... ...you will never be able to see the sun setting over the beautiful lake and island ever again. It was a glimpse.... God sure makes incredible pictures.
I write music of my own, “The Cantata of Psalm 27” I preformed it as a replacement for sermons in Church. One of my children at the outreach thought the music I wrote was similar to the classical music you are listening to in this tape. So, they gave it to me thinking I would like it; at my DOUNOME Outreach in Enderby, BC. I had kids from ages 3 to 73 and one Christmas I gave gifts to 116 people including the senior citizen complex connected to the hospital Enderby, BC. I was impressed by the thought she put into this gift, yet I never was able to listen to it before I moved from the outreach to the lower mainland in 2003. This tape has always been in storage in an environmentally controlled, pet free, smoke free, dust free home. Please look closely at the pictures as I always sell ASIS- no refund, no returns. However, the four-hour opera, first performed in Paris on August 3, 1829, was not a hit. In the weird way of the world, its afterthought of an overture has become one of the world's most well-known works. “The William Tell Overture” Within the 12 minutes of this piece, Rossini presents what Hector Berlioz had described as a “symphony in four parts.” Two of these parts are instantly recognizable, and one is known as part of the “William Tell Overture.” The musical piece was designed to present “the day in the life of a Switzerland in revolt”, the prelude, named “Dawn,” starts with a slow, solo passage for the cello. Then it accelerates into the second part, “Storm,” where the entire orchestra now becomes fully present. The third part “The Call to the Dairy Cows,” uses English horns and flutes that are calling to each other, like shepherds across the fields. The overture’s finale, “March of the Swiss Soldiers,” was used as the theme song for “The Lone Ranger and has been used in numerous other popular cultures works to increase the sensation of chaos or urgency to a scene. Other classical composers like Franz Liszt developed a piano transcription of the overture in 1838; which is included in this concert’s performance. Rossini didn't write the overture until the last minute. The premiere of the opera was approaching, and he needed something. So, he dug into his past works. There he found an opera he'd written 14 years earlier, "Elizabeth, Queen of England." He recycled parts of it into “The William Tell Overture.” He went back to this work again and reworked Elizabeth’s first aria as Una voce poco fa from “The Barber of Seville.” The music written about William Tell is far more well-known to American audiences than is the man William Tell. People may know he shot an arrow through an apple on his son’s head, but not much more. William Tell was a Swiss folk hero and fighter for Swiss independence from Austria. Whether Mr. Tell actually existed is a question historians argue over. However, Tell’s importance in Swiss folklore and national identity is unquestioned. He’s found in works of art and statues, and sites throughout Switzerland claim various associations with him. They say Tell was a 14th-century farmer. While in the town of Altdorf on the banks of Lake Lucerne, Tell, along with all the other locals, was ordered by the Hapsburg (Austrian) bailiff to salute the bailiff's hat, which he'd placed on top of a rod. Refusing to show obeisance to a hat or Austrian rule in Switzerland, Tell was arrested. His punishment was to shoot the apple off his son’s head. But Tell had armed himself with a second arrow to shoot at the bailiff as revenge in case he hurt his son with the first shot. So, Tell was arrested again. This time he was chained and taken to a boat on the lake. A storm came, and the Austrian crew unchained Tell so he could navigate the boat, as he was the only one familiar with it. Legend has it that he steered the boat to some rocks, jumped out with this cross bow, and then pushed the boat back into the water with the Austrian captors still on it. True or not, it’s a good story worthy of commemoration, especially one as memorable as his own overture. As you listen to this music, imagine what you just read and you will be able to feel the boat crashing into the rocks and Tell escaping his captors. Enjoy! Always moma jo

I had 2 beautiful Labradors; a brown one and a golden one; Their names were Ten Speed and Brown Shoes. Ten Speed was the Golden one; she ran all over the place; and when I called for her, I would see a spot in the distance in the field from my porch. Within less than a minute, she would run as fast as her legs would come 'til she was standing just below me wagging her tail rapidly; hoping I had something good for her. Brown Shoes was exactly the opposite, content to lay in the sun below the porch and enjoy the peace and quiet of the day. One day, My girlfriend came over and her baby walked over and plopped herself on top of Brown Shoes. ... making him grunt from the impact. He looked up long enough to see that is was a pink puppy and wagged his tail and laid his head back down as if to say... welcome my friend....enjoy the sun.

I saw the sun setting on the top of the mountain as it was going down for the night. I stopped and took the picture but forgot to forward the cameras for the next picture. The next morning my son was sitting in the sun beam on our living room floor playing with his new construction toys as the cat “Puzzles” babysat him. I grabbed the camera because I thought “what a lovely shot, he is so content…” To my surprise when the pictures came back from the photographer the 2 picture were superimposed onto each other. This card was created to celebrate the passing of adulthood to becoming a senior as Jo Love did on July 23 2020. It is a 5 1/2 " x 8 1/2 card that will be coming in a 6 x 9 envelope, comes with the Justus sticker. To commemorate the creation of this card and its significance to the Justus Community. Written on the back of the card, all parties involved are recognized: The print on the front of this card was created Lacia Vogel. The Quote on the inside of the card was created by Carla Erk. This card was created to celebrate the passing of age rights into Jo Love becoming a senior. Congratulations Carla Erk for being the winner of the quote contest. Your comment is so fitting. “Celebrate every day in life as a blessing made just for you.” are the words permanently printed on the JUSTUS turning 60 Birthday Card. As the winner of the contest she are also the receiver of the “prototype”, one and only ever made in this design or ever will be made in this exact design: "Withian lined Journal" that comes with a pen with a key chain holding a cart coin. Keep checking the Facebook page for more events to win your amazing discount offer and more. Because Aging is an unavoidable natural process of the autobiography of one’s life. Just like the book that Jo Love wrote of called: "DO.U.NO.ME-Prelude to the Inevitable". When one takes a new step into the future one needs to celebrate. As we get older, we do not have to feel or think we are old! If we stop reflecting on our age number as foreboding or foretelling of our future behavior to be, we can break the norm and be, feel and act as young as we "think" we are. The Dounome Outreach brought people together from the age of 3 to 73 as one single thinking family of people. Jo Love believes and trusts that actual, dedicated undertakings on one’s path can lead to actualizing a better life not now, but right now... So your turning 60 says all that and more.... Where are we going from here? Where do we want to go from here? How do we plan to get there? Whom do we want to take with us as we step into a new world of experiences? ..... So, let's get busy fulfilling our dreams -- while helping others do the same. Live young... for more information about Justus, Feel free to look at the Justus Journal in the Justus Library.
This is a film you will watch more than once. It just makes sense that this VHS is a plug VHS…. I gotta be honest here, I got this VHS from a movie store that was going under. SO, it was never sold retail to the public, it was only ever a video store plug video for customer viewing. It doesn’t have a date of production on it. Francis is on the cover and is a fictional character from the Disney-Pixar animated film “A Bug’s Life,” which was released in 1998. He is a ladybug and one of the main characters in the film. He was voiced by comedian and actor Dennis Leary. Vintage 1998 Disney Pixar "A Bug's Life" VHS. Now, after doing some research, I found out from the Disney News Channel that in 1998 the “Francis Cover Version VHS” was issued in Canada/USA, prior to the retail version being sold in USA in March of 1999. This is why I suspect this VHS must be a promo tape that was used for the sole purpose of Promotional Rental Entertainment. They made several covers for the same video. I don’t know why, I think they were hopeful that you might like the video so much, you would want to have the collection of the same video. I never played it more than a couple times because my VHS player went to heaven on me before I had a chance to go there. Since then, I went DVD for my pleasure viewing and this tape just stayed on the shelf. The VHS tape, itself looks in pretty good condition. Look at the pictures they will tell the story. ISBN: 0-7888-1338-2; UPC: 7-86936-0882-5-0; Stock #15653A; The only other tell tales on it is: There is a generic unusable UPC label on it that has no validity other than the fact that it looks like this is where you are supposed to put a UPC symbol because the number is very misleading: 4012345987652. The tape case has the information in white ink on the black plastic. On the narrow side of the case is the initial engrave BVHE (Buenavista Home Entertainment) and on the back side where you usually find the date and name of the tape, the only thing I see is: Life ENG. 009413 on the top row and underneath: VCR0373. On the far right there is a UPC bar with no numbers underneath it. Has Go Network logo- (www.Go.com's original logo was used from 1998 to 1999 as Go Network.) Walt Disney records logo; there also is a couple words almost hidden behind the rating sticker, see the pictures maybe you can decipher it. My eyesight can’t decipher it even with a magnifying glass. Feature running time: Approx. 95 minutes/ Bonus Footage: Approx. 10 minutes; Distributed by Buenavista Home Entertainment; Made and Printed in USA, except cassettes distributed in Canada; duplicated in Canada (15653-1) D3594 The clamshell case still does its job but deserves to be replaced. Case has some corner wear. Tape is untested but appears to be in good condition. A Bugs Life VHS 15653, 1998 Disney Pixar; CC; Canadian Home G Rating label; Special Bonus Footage Dolby Surround sound; Standard Release; Rating: G; Release Date: November 25, 1998; Genre: Action, Adventure, Animation, Comedy Embark on an incredible journey with one little ant as he searches for a brave band of warriors to help him battle the bullying grasshoppers who threaten his home. Variant) FULL DISCLOSURE: This VHS tape is used and around 26 years old. What you see is what you get-ASIS. No refunds. No returns. Just in case it needs some tender loving care, I would recommend this VHS tape as being meant for only the serious collector or someone that knows how to restore old magnetic tapes from Vintage VHS state. FYI: Other sellers will tell you they tested the tape, which is actually a bad thing to do unless they know what to do and are knowledgeable in vintage magnetic tapes. This is why my VHS tapes are not tested. It is better to leave them in their natural vintage state prior to the transfer of ownership so that the new owner has the best chance to retaining the “best quality” of the magnetic tapes. The rate of decay will depend on the exact chemistry of the particles used in the creation of the tape, but if it does happen you can expect some colour shift towards weaker hues and a loss of detail overall in your footage. THIS IS THE GOOD NEWS: I kept it in a temperature-controlled, microbiologically monitored environment and in a dry storage; and in a dark place for the past 20 years. My home is pet free, dust free, and smoke and vape free. The cover is in good vintage condition with a little wear for a 26-year-old piece of entertainment. Check out the pictures, I will show you as many as I can. You have the best possible chance of it working for you. Good Luck; if you are a collector this will enhance your collection. Enjoy, always moma jo
A Magical Adventure from Executive Producer George Lucas This is the movie George Lucas does not want you to see. This early animation shows 75 minutes of rare footage that a history movie buff needs to see and own. Movie cults rave about the raw words used in this movie. Critics say that you have to get through the first 10 minutes of the movie to want to see the rest. There are three versions of this movie. A PG-13 (should be rated Adult) version, a G version and an HBO version that was chopped and all the vulgar words removed. My Version is the PG-13 version. Very very rare. Very, very, very Raw. One of my kids from my DOUNOME Outreach gave it to me and we all sat down to watch it, but before it was over, I stopped it and took it from the player and said, “I don’t think we should watch this any more”…many of my children at the outreach were 9-13 years old. It was confiscated before the movie was played in it’s entirety and put into storage. Now years later, I have decided to vindicate this VHS and give it some value. If it can help to get the crisis website up and running in a proper website instead of the free website that doesn’t have any more storage space so I can add to it more data.……., it will have rejuvenated my like for it. Taking a look back at a rare, animated movie from Lucasfilm that hasn't been broadcast on television since 1998 or ever released on DVD; the initial cut of the movie features a bunch of salty language from the improvisational actors who did the voiceover work, along with some beautiful stop-motion animation using cut-out pictures. If you want to see this gem in its original ADULT form on DVD, Blu-ray or a streaming service, don't hold your breath. Warner Bros holds the rights to it and hasn't announced any plans to release it. The only way to see it legally right now means dusting off your old VHS or Laserdisc player. I don’t have a VHS player, so I can’t tell you whether it works or not. I looked for another VHS of the same kind on the internet and could not find one. I did however find a couple sites that say out of stock, and the newer G version on DVD where they cut out all the controversial data. This VHS has been in a temperature regulated home with no pets and no smoking for almost 20 years. What you see is what you get-ASIS. Please look at the pictures. The filmmaker who led audiences into the galaxy far far away invites you to a different yet equally fantastic world! Star Wars tm & George Lucas-Lucasfilm Ltd. executive producer created the animated “delight”-(using this word dryly) Twice Upon a Time from directors John Korty- Korty Films and Charles Swenson. In its once-upon-a-time world, the heroes are Ralph, the all-purpose animal, and his constant companion, Mumford, who only talks in sound effects. Their mission is nothing short of saving the cosmos from the dastardly plot of Synonymies Botch, who wants to unleash a barrage of nightmare bombs to ensure nonstop bad dreams. They cross paths with a colorful army of characters, including their FGM (a fairy godmother from the Bronx), the musclebound – and pea-brained – Rod Rescueman and Scuzzbopper, Botch’s scheming court jester and screamwriter. The off-the-wall characters and story are portrayed with an innovative animation technique, lumage, which gives depth, texture and translucent color to every scene. Music from Michael McDonald and Bruce Hornsby accompanies the action. Full of unexpected delights, Twice upon a Time is a one-of-a-kind fantasy, hailed by critic Leonard Maltin as “a real treat.” I heard a review you might want to listen to before you make a decision to buy this VHS: https://www.alphavoice.io/video/episodes-screamqueenz-horror-podcast/252-twice-upon-a-time-1983-with-doug-shapiro-stephen-wangner-repost you will shake your head through the entire review. When I played this for the first time, it was at the DOUNOME Outreach in Enderby BC. There were maybe a dozen kids there. We all sat down to watch my 20” inch TV with momasecrets dough gods and moma jo’s special spice popcorn with grape juice, and tea. It was fun watching the children more than the show sometimes, because the frustrations and triumphs could be seen on their faces as if they were the boy or the girl in the film. You know the show is moving when half a dozen boys between 12 and 14 have tears running down their face…lol… in one part of the film. It truly was a good watch. I think we watched it more than once, then it got put in storage when I moved to the Lower Mainland. Recently I decided it was time to let go of these VHS’s that I have collected over the years. This VHS was originally purchased Brand New, One Owner, me. “NOT A RENTAL” This VHS has been in a temperature regulated home with no pets and no smoking for almost 20 years. Well remembered by those who grew up in the VHS era or caught the film through repeat cable airings. While not a success in theaters, it has a sense of wonder and is downright stunning at times, though it suffers from an identity crisis. A recently widowed mother (Bonnie Bedelia), Milly, her kind-hearted daughter (Lucy Deakins) and Louis, her wild, G.I. Joe-obsessed son (Fred Savage) move into a new home to restart their lives. They learn that Eric, the boy next door (Jay Underwood), is scarred from the grief of losing his parents and copes by sitting on his windowsill and pretending to fly. Milly accepts the request of a sympathetic doctor (Colleen Dewhurst) to tutor and watch over Eric in high school. Over time, she becomes infatuated with him and begins to suspect that he really can fly. Deakins is dazzling, conveying an ahead-of-her-years awareness in a natural, alarmingly strong performance. Underwood has a somewhat impossible role, as the defining traits and “rules” of Eric are always changing. He’s initially referred to as “sort of autistic,” and later in the form of an unkind word that no longer has merit today. Savage’s big dramatic scene with Deakins begins as a funny confrontation, until it becomes heartbreaking. Mindy Kohn of “The Facts of Life” has her sole film role as Deakins’ best friend and gives a sitcom-ready performance. Far better, though also a tad hammy, is Fred Gwynne as Eric’s alcoholic and unreliable uncle. It’s a sad movie. There are scenes here that are startling and even heartbreaking. Despite the strangeness of it (a few scenes even hint at this becoming a horror film) and that troublesome shifting of tonal gears, the performances are exceptional, and a handful of scenes are quite powerful. Milly finding her mother alone one night, staring at her late husband’s photo, is beautifully written and performed. So is the scene where the family unexpectedly finds a home movie playing and can’t stop watching it. The scene where Louis desperately attempts to save his action figures before they drown in the mud and a wrenching bit where Milly confides in a psychiatrist (Louise Fletcher, playing the oddly named “Doctor Grenada”) how her father really died are crushing, moving moments. Despite the dialog assuring us that love makes us fly and the tender Stephen Bishop synth ballad over the end credits, “The Boy Who Could Fly” genuinely soars when its feet are planted firmly on the ground.

It gives the reader a chance to read about my life, and put themselves in my place. to identify with their own lives, by what has happened in my own life. It gives the reader the opportunity to explore their own lives, through my life. It allows the reader to use whatever spirituality they have, to gently nudge them into searching themselves to find that place in their heart, soul, and mind where they know that this is the core, this is the gut, of who they are, and from there, they can build a strength within them, to become who they want to be. This book is written as if I were your friend, who came over to visit and have a cup of coffee at your kitchen table, or a coffee at a local restaurant. or as a friend, taking you for a walk on a nice warm day. I wrote the book to be an inspiration for those who are screaming to understand, why they are where they are. My intention, is to use the money I receive from the royalties, to enable the books to be given to women shelters, teen-age outlooks, narcotics anonymous, alcoholics anonymous, mental health units, doctors offices, churches and charities, that have in need of knowing that they are not alone. I use my own beliefs in God to show how there is a power greater than themselves, and that if they use that strength to pull themselves through the tough times in their life, they will be able to surmount anything that comes their way. This book helps you find that place within yourself where you stand and will not be moved. It gives you an understanding of why you are where you are and how to change your circumstances for the better This book helps you stand for what you: believe in, deserve, are and want to be. I write the book with phrases and poems and simple sentences that force you to draw from your own experiences to understand By placing yourself into the moments that you read; what has been written .....reveals to you.......what you need to know, remember, not ignore... so that you can make sense of your life... by learning that you are not alone in the path you have chosen towards fulfillment and happiness from the stepping stones you have been presented to yourself to follow in life. It is classified in the Library of Canada as a Spiritual, Philosophical self-actualization read.
