Many of you that follow on stories have asked me which wallpaper and paint we used so I thought I would pop it on the blog for you. A leaking loo with a concealed cistern (we learned our lesson) and torn wallpaper meant that our downstairs loo was in desperate need of a little makeover. I really wanted to do something dramatic and dark as it seemed the perfect space to be a little daring. I searched through hundreds of different wallpapers on Wallpaperdirect and finally settled on this one. I had been thinking about painting the understair cupboards, door and ceilings a dark blue and a quick poll on instagram confirmed my decision. I am so pleased we did, because it really does look and feel much bigger. It’s also everyone’s new favourite room in the house. Amazing how such a small space can have such a big impact. To get the right colour paint, I took the roll of wallpaper to our local paint shop where they scanned it and produced the best colour match. The paint Colour number is 10139, 30BB09126.
