Some flowers/foliage are preserved - if you see "preserved" in the name of listing means that flower was "dried up" to look as alive as possible- using dry freezing/vacuum chamber or with glycerin in the water when it was still fresh, etc. Preserved flowers usually still have the flexibility and preserved eucalyptus, for example, looks fresh for over a year ;) Preserved rose usually feels like thick velvety paper and will last for years in the same shape. Or preserved eucalyptus leaves - they are flexible and fragrant ;)
