FacebookTweetPin3 Hello! It’s been fun going through all of the pictures I took on the tour since all of the homes seem to blur together when you’re actually taking the tour. This next home ranks towards the top of my list for a lot of reasons, but I’ll let you be the judge. The Bella Noelle Price: $1.5M Square Footage: 7,100 sq. ft. Builder: Clayton Douglas Homes, Ltd. Website: www.claytondouglashomes.com This home is another single level home plus a basement, and the exterior is eye catching from the start. Upon entering this home, the office was to the left. Lots of wood here – a wee bit too much wood for my personal taste, but you couldn’t help but appreciate it. I do love the floors. I did like the door. To the right was the dining room – much more glam than the office. I love the chandelier in here. From here, we went upstairs – Three bedrooms up here – Along with a tv area in the central hallway. And girl’s room, complete with a hot pink ceiling. I loved this bedroom – such a pretty color palette, don’t you think? After we toured the upstairs, we […]

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS : Installation of PVC Glue up Ceiling Tiles directly over the ceiling: 1. Prepare the surface: Wipe off the ceiling or any other surface you are installing the tiles over, and make that surface smooth and even. Remove loose plaster, paint, wallpaper etc. Draw a chalk line in the middle of the room (preferably through the light fixture electrical box area). 2. Apply the adhesive: Apply STYRO PRO adhesive to the back of the tile and continue to step #3. You can also use any good quality rubber based adhesive (we recommend Contact Cement by DAP, Weldwood Original Formula) to the back of the tile. Let them air out until adhesive solvents evaporates and becomes tacky. Please check the drying time on the pack of the adhesive, usually, it is anywhere between 2-5 minutes. Applying the adhesive on the ceiling will also improve bonding and strength. Approximately 1 gallon of adhesive will be enough to cover 75 tiles or 300 square feet when used on both, the tiles and the ceiling. 3. Place & Press: Place the sheet in the required position and press firmly but gently. Overlap the edges with the previous sheet and press firmly with fingertips, after completing the first straight row, work your way to the sides. Installation of PVC Glue up Ceiling Tiles over existing drop tiles. 1. install the base ceiling tiles made out of Plywood, MDF, Block board or regular ceiling tiles, etc. It is recommended to paint the grid before installing faux tin ceiling tiles, you can use spray cans, spray gun or foam roller. (Removing existing tiles while painting the grid is unnecessary) Select the paint to compliment the tiles finish – (i.e., when installing Antique Copper tiles you may want to paint the grids in plain Copper or Antique Copper color etc.) Using existing old drop tiles as support simply resurface them with our new glue up faux tin ceiling tiles (glue them one by one to the base ceiling tiles and place them on to the grids) If necessary trim the edges of the PVC tiles to make them fit the grid size. 2. If your existing drop tiles are 24” X 48” you have two options: Glue two Faux Tin tiles over every one of the 24” X 48 tiles, side by side, overlapping the edges of the tiles in the middle. Convert the 24" x 48" grid system into a 24" x 24" grid system by dividing the 24 x 48 openings in half using 24” cross tees. Cut the old drop tiles in half to make two 24” X 24” tiles, and glue on the 24"x24" plastic glue up tiles to those halves one by one. Finally, install the resurfaced ceiling tiles on to the grids.
