Today I have my first sneak peek at new products from the upcoming January to April 2024 Mini Catalogue! It's been a lot of fun making Christmas projects over the last few months, but I am super excited to get into some new ideas to share with you. I have 2 cards for you featuring the lovely Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper and the Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle. (The replay of my my live video is below). The Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle includes a photopolymer stamp set and a matching label punch
I love to find a card pattern that has minimal stamping, features DSP, and can be used over and over with a variety of different papers. This kind of card pattern is perfect for those who get Paper Shares where you get a sample of all the papers in a catalog and need ideas of what to do with it. I think you will definitely want to give this one a try! To make the front of this card, you only need a 3"x 3" piece of DSP, which means you can get 4 cards out of one 6x6 sheet. You can stop there and keep it simple, or you can give the inside pop-up surprise a try. Flight & Airy DSP, greeting from Softly Sophisticated Stamp Set Birds are fussy-cut from Flight & Airy DSP Bee Mine DSP, greeting from Sentimental Park stamp set Bees are fussy cut from Bee Mine DSP Hearts were punched with the Bee Builder punch You can watch how I made these projects in the following video. The measurements are posted below. 3x3 DSP Card Measurements in inches: DSP: 3 x 3 Mat behind DSP: 3-1/8 x 3-1/8 White layer: 3-1/4 x 4-1/2 Mat behind white layer: 3-7/16 x 4-11/16 (or 3-3/8 plus a 16th x 4-5/8 plus a 16th) Card base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4 Insert card for the inside to have a pop-up: Base: 8 x 5, score at 4 On the back side of the card, go from the middle score line 1" to the right and 1" to the left and put a small pencil mark. Then go down the center of the line 2" and put a mark. To make it easy to see in your paper trimmer, I recommend marking on the side that will be attached to the card and drawing a pencil line where you are going to score. Then put it in your trimmer and score over the lines you drew. Fold as shown and add little cut out images to the part that is folded in so they pop up when the card is opened (easiest to understand on the video). As I mentioned before, you can keep it simple and skip the pop-up inside piece. I went to town making a bunch of cards using this design with different papers. These are the papers I've tried so far: Trusty Toolbox DSP, greeting from Throughout the Year stamp set Rock & Roll DSP, greeting from Throughout the Year stamp set Lighter than Air DSP, greeting from Hot Air Balloon stamp set Softly Stippled DSP, greeting from Go to Greetings stamp set You can find a picture list of the supplies I used for the first two cards at the end of this post. If you want to know the colors for all of the cards I made, I do go through it in the video. I hope you give this card a try and have fun! Please use the following host code on February orders: TT6M37BV. If your order is over $50, you will get a free gift from me, a free Sale-a-bration item, and a Frequent Stamper Reward point. Yippee! Have your DSP and see the other side, too? Yes! Since Stampin' Up! artists do such an amazing job of coordinating colors and patterns in the DSP package (like the Trusty Toolbox DSP in the SaleABration Mini Catalog), I hate to glue it all down and miss the back side.…
* I was so lucky and was able to attend the Stampin' UP! Onstage Event at Houston Texas this month! Onstage is ran by Stampin' UP! and is where we learn how to use to new products "Onstage" and we celebrate a years worth of achievements "Onstage". Thus the name...Onstage! This is the first one in person since 2019!!! At these events of course there is some Card Swapping (organized and general), 3D Swapping, and gift giving, Below I have it organized as such so you can scroll and see what you like best! Under each image is the name of the stamper (if known) and a link the stamp set they used. *Stampin' UP! image above was made using little color squares and was like a giant paint by numbers. It took takes to make and many demonstrators to help! It turned out beautiful! **Some swaps were missing names attached and you will see them listed as Mystery Stamper Queens of the Stamp Age at Onstage Left to Right Top: Natalie White, Brandi Barnard, Kristie Hamilton, Kasia, Shannon West, Rachael Coon, Lynda Day, Sherri Robison, Amelia Hurst, Paula Skeen, Karen Hoffman, Bottom: Tricia Williams, Candice Anderson, Chelsey Christensen, ?, Melissa Colliage (bonus Queen) Front: Ashley Van Camp Queens Swaps By Brandi Barnard (Team Leader) Bright Skies By Amelia Hurst Hooray For Surprises Dies By Amelia Hurst Mini Alphabet Dies By Candice Anderson Filled with Fun Dies By Kristie Hamilton Painted Lavender By Paula Skeen Simply Sparkling Bundle By Paula Skeen Just Kiddin' Suite Collection By Melanie Williams Ice Cream Swirl Bundle By Tricia Williams Retired By Karen Hoffman By Lynda Day Filled with Fun Bundle General Swaps By Nicole Wrigley Bee Mine Valentine (Suite retiring soon, bundle carries over) By Ellen L. Raise your hand if you remember these super handy notepad holders!!? I think I started making these about 15 years ago. I keep one in my car so that I always have a notepad ready without the paper being all wrinkled up! Easy to Make! I cut my designer paper (Delightful Floral used here) to about 7' x 10'.. always measure your clear case before cutting! Create a focal point to add to the DSP - I used the Fluffiest Friends bundle. Launching today! We have a bunch of new Online Exclusives in my Online Store today. These are products you won't find in any publication. They're new and current and oh so fun! Some of these products may sell out and will not be restocked. So if you love something, grab it! There's lots to choose from and there's something for everyone. Today I'm sharing an amazing card that features four brand new Online Exclusive products. First is the gorgeous DSP! This is the A Little Latte DSP. The DSP is so fun and has a stunning color combination! You'll want this. The cups are die cut directly from the DSP with the NEW Latte Love Dies. These dies coordinate with the Latte Love Stamp Set (not used on this card). If you love the paper you'll want to get the bundle. Next is the greeting, it's from the NEW Comforting Thoughts Set. This set has some incredible greetings for family and friends struggling through some rough times. The greeting is die cut with the NEW Happy Little Things Dies. This two piece label die set is amazing! For the rest of my card I used the Foursquare Masks with some Shimmery White Embossing Paste. It's been a while since I pulled out Embossing Paste. I was reminded how amazing it is! I colored the paste with a tiny bit (one or two drops) of Petal Pink Ink Refill. This tinted the paste so that it wasn't stark white and blended into the background more. Don't forget to clean your mask and other Embossing Paste tools immediately so that the paste doesn't dry on your tools. I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store. Shop the new Online Exclusives today! Shop my Online Store. Thanks for looking, see you soon!!! Have you tried a Stack & Cut before? It's a simple concept that really is genius. And if you like quilts, you're going to like this...and how simply the cards go together. SU!P FRIENDS! I have to admit when I saw the Favored Flowers DSP in the Sale-A-Bration brochure, I thought it wasn't something that I thought I needed--it was so black and just didn't appeal to me. But I was needing some more freebies so I ordered it thinking I would give it away as a prize. But I've invited a couple friends over to make cards and wanted to have a good variety for them to pick from, so I used this paper which coordinates with the Fragrant Flowers Bundle, and wow---I'm so glad I gave it a try!
