In her new Book of Earth, published by Abrams, Heidi Gustafson takes us on a journey through rare pigments and their landscapes.
Natural Earth Pigments are lush, they hold color in a unique way, not like any other. They are textural and reflect fragments of light, revealing the true beauty of iron. They are deep, full of secret beauty. They hide in earth crevices emitting energy waiting for discovery.

Hi! Welcome to today's Blog Hop! We are celebrating the newest Stamp of Approval Collection -- The Naturally Inspired Collection. You should have arrived here from Catherine's Blog! I am so excited to be hopping today! I'm not even kidding - when I opened the box, I shrieked with excitement because I loved every.single. thing. that was inside! It was so easy to start creating! I didn't even need much inspiration. And.. speaking of inspiration, what keeps YOU naturally inspired? For me, I find myself looking for patterns and colors in nature (and in stores, too), all the time for me to use in my projects. I also go to Pinterest quite a bit; not for project ideas, but for color combos using photographs of things in nature! The above card was inspired by this photograph: Photo Credit To create this card, I used Simply the Best and Birds of a Feather Stamp Sets, WOW Wanderlust Embossing Powder, and Melon Ice and Grass Skirt Inks. This card was created with Medallion Mix Up and Wild Garden Stamp Sets, Spiro Doily Die and Mint to Be, Melon Ice and Midnight Inks. How fun is that die? I used Simply the Best and Birds of a Feather Stamp Sets, the Best Die and Party Dress, Its A Girl, Mint to Be, Pixie Dust and Sweet Sixteen Inks. I used the masking technique to create this card. I love the little array of flowers! I used Wild Garden and Simply the Best Stamp Sets, along with Grass Skirt, Bellini, Its A Boy, Midnight, Garden Party, Party Dress and Pixie Dust Inks. The stamp-off (or second generation stamping) technique was used for this card. I used Wild Garden and Simply the Best Stamp Sets with Midnight, Aquatini, Party Dress and Grass Skirt Inks. I even have a video, sharing how I made it!!! Comment to win! What makes YOU Naturally Inspired? Next up on the Blog Hop is Deepti! You are going to adore her blog post!!! There is a campsite at Þakgil and is located between Mýrdalsjökull (Mt. Katla) and Mýrdalssand. The name can be translated as "the canyon with a roof". The road to Þakgil is 14km from highway number 1 is one of the most beautiful "entrance" to a camp site that I've travelled to. The landscape is amazing around the raod as well as further away. The camp site itself will be revealed at the last turn.
