This is a printable home school resource designed for middle and high school students. Just press print! :) What you will love about this activity is that it is one you can complete as a weekly assignment during your ELA/English coursework. Assign this to your student with any ELA novel/ independent reading book. I have my students complete one per reading chapter. Students develop close-reading and analyzing skills in a fun & creative way. This activity helps students build literacy skills and connect deeper to their reading novels. I love this reading organizer because the prompts allow students to demonstrate their creativity, close reading skills, and personal connections to the text. As well, students come prepared to discuss the assigned reading chapter and can reference their organizer to discuss the text. Includes a grading rubric as well.
