Hello, Teaching Friends! Do you like using riddles with your class? Good, because I'm becoming a bit obsessed with making riddle resources. I've made autumn riddles, winter riddles, alphabet riddles, Thanksgiving riddles, and number riddles. So now I've decided to make... uh, riddles again. This time I'm venturing into some new territory, the upper elementary grades. 120 Riddles for the 120 Chart is my most popular resource, so I thought I'd make a version for fourth and fifth grade. CCCS topics addressed include multiplication, division, remainders, prime numbers, factors, multiples, place value, geometric shapes, area, perimeter, and more. Click here to see it at my TPT store. Have a closer look... Here's a free sample from the pack. If you're reading this blog, you're most likely a primary grade teacher. I found this Math Reference Sheet many years ago on Ms. Sanchez's class website. Her download is still available. I printed out 25 colored copies and mounted on card stock. On the backside I made a sheet of cut and pasted resources that fit my students' needs like measurement charts, number words, etc. I then laminated the cards. They held up for four years and it is now time to remake them. If this is too old for your class, there are a variety of sheets available on TPT for free that might fit your needs. Link Here are my math tool kits that I will have the children store on their desks. It will become the Math/Science tool kit. I need to come up with a clever name for them. We do not use Everyday Math anymore and will be adopting Go Math. While looking for her website, I stumbled across her Science Sheet that I will also be making for my students. Link

This printable math worksheet is a super fun way to practice addition and money skills. It also makes a great follow up for a restaurant math center activity. Your students can pretend that they have their own little place that serves junk food for lunch (because it's no fun to serve broccoli and kale at a fake restaurant). Their task is to add up the bills of the customers who have eaten! The addition is fairly simple and is a great way to practice for kids who are just being introduced to money values. On each receipt there are pictures of the food the customer has purchased with a box off to the side to write the cost. Once everything has been added together, your students can write the total for each customer at the bottom of the receipt. Plus, this can double as a coloring page for all those smarty pants kids who finish the worksheet a bit too quickly. To get this free printable money math worksheet just right click on the image below and select print or save. And if you'd like to create more worksheets or math center items with the matching clipart, you can get our cute dinner clipart set in black and white or color.
