This landscape art is embroidered by hand using cotton floss and 100% linen fabric. I framed it into the medium embroidery hoop with hanging. I used a high quality original DMC floss so the colors won’t fade and the picture won’t lose its vividness and brightness. The size with hoop is 6.5" For the back side I used a piece of felt with a stitched “Hare in Hands” words. Care: do not wash in washing machine. Do not use any brushes or something that can hurt the stitches. Gentle dust off from time to time
Even though drones are not such a new thing any more, it is still spectacular to see the nature photos and videos that are taken using them. Not only is nature beautiful in and of itself, but this also gives us, wingless beings, a chance to see what birds see on the daily.

“During one of my nature walks, I found myself looking up at the trees and how the sun shone through. I knew I needed to capture this on an organza hoop to mirror my vision.”
Embroidery artist Katrin Vates has opened our eyes to all the ways the art form can be used.
We humans have the unique ability to take something ordinary and add a little extra to it. While this interest of ours has culminated in a myriad of decorative art forms, embroidery is one of those that we've invested most of our time and effort in.

Cassandra Dias combines French knots, satin stitches, and various thread-painting techniques into impressionistic landscapes teeming with texture and organic color. Rugged mountains swell in neutral tones, the water’s surface hazily reflects the surrounding trees, and tiny pops of lavender and orange emerge through fields of green. The Camarillo, California-based artist began working with fiber in early 2020 and has since developed her distinctive style, which evokes movement and mimics the visible brushstrokes associated with painting. UK-based artist Sew Beautiful creates breathtaking landscapes using only needle, thread, and occasionally some cotton-like balls of wool to make her artwork jump out of the hoop. Her vibrant and colorful embroidered sceneries look like paintings although no paint was used in the process. She doesn‘t have to look far for inspiration as living in the picturesque countryside results in the most incredible designs.
