Many thanks to Angel Studios for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own. I am excited to share a movie with you all that I have fallen in love with and that is a must-see! I am talking about Cabrini which is a true and powerful story based on the life of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian immigrant who comes to America and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children living in New York’s slums. She is determined and armed with a fearless spirit and a compassionate heart that sets her off on a daring mission to convince the hostile mayor to secure housing and healthcare for society’s most vulnerable. She is fearless and never gives up even though there seem to be contant obstacles in her way. Despite her broken English and poor health, Cabrini leverages her entrepreneurial mind to build an empire of hope, unlike anything the world had ever seen. In fact in the course of over 34 years Cabrini established an astonishing 67 hospitals, orphanages, and schools. Her energy and drive was fueled by an intense focus on serving Jesus in whatever he asked of her and her legacy still stands to this very day. This movie is the first biopic about the Patron Saint of Immigrants and it’s a movie that needs to be seen. I absolutely loved it and most definitely want to see it again with my family in the theater for the ultimate watching experience. Let’s take a look at the trailer: The trailer to Cabrini looks amazing right!? I absolutely loved this story and love all that she accomplished even though there seemed to be mounting obstacles in her way every step of the way. She never took no for an answer and she was even canonized in 1946 by Pope Pius XII and became the first American citizen to be named a saint. Four years later she was given the title of Patroness of Immigrants! So what do you think of Cabrini?! Are you as excited to see it in theater as I am?! I cannot emphasize enough what a powerful and moving story Cabrini is and I love that it‘s the first biopic about the Patron Saint of Immigrants. Gather your friends and family and make sure to purchase tickets today to see this wonderful film in theaters starting March 8th! You can also check to find theaters near you as well as showtimes.
