I wrote about it a while ago, this little hanging strawberry is filled with corund. It is a sand like substance which can easily polish your needles when you pull it trough a couple of times. You can buy this type of pincushion with the little strawberry on it in any haberdashery shop in this typical tomato shape. I know, cross stitchers are used to more cute handmade pincushions but believe me, this is a handy thing to have sometimes.
