The colors of autumn fill every inch of our lifestyle blog thanks to this fall harvest dinner party at 2 Lads Winery. The beautiful evening in Michigan, where the leaves match the shades on the table, is the picture of the season; cozy plaid throws, candlelight, good wine, and great conversation.
As modern parents, there are so many forces pulling in differing directions. We want the best for our families from feeding them healthy food to creating lasting family traditions, and everything in between. While these are all noble pursuits, sometimes we just don't have time to do it all! I'm here to help! The trick to satisfying your desire to check all the parenting boxes is to cut corners. Yep. You heard me right. Cut corners where you can, and save your time and energy for the things that matter most. Here is my biggest party planning secret: you don't need to run to the party store and fill up your cart with all of the delightful party supplies (though I'm not saying that isn't fun; it really is sometimes!). You can use things that you have around your house. Really, pulling items from around my home is the easiest way I cut corners in designing a party. Still don't believe me? I'll walk you through it as I share this Fall Apple Dipping Party with Sugar-Free Dips + Doughnuts. It's as easy as apple...dip! Fall Apple Themed Party with Easy Recipes I love to partner with International Delight because they take the work out of delicious party recipes. Why use a million ingredients and a million hours in the kitchen when you can easily create party popping recipes to grace your easily styled table? Plus, if you love warming up to a mid-day cup of hot cocoa or coffee, you won’t be able to get enough of these sugar-free creamers! I told you earlier that I am a total fan of cutting corners. But, let me stress, I only cut corners where it makes sense to do it! One thing I don't cut corners on is the quality of ingredients in the easy DIY recipes I create. You don't have to sacrifice quality for ease. For this party, I created a couple of delicious SUGAR FREE Low Carb recipes (see them below) that capitalize on mouth-watering flavors! These recipes use International Delight Sugar Free Pumpkin Pie Spice Creamer and International Delight Sugar Free French Vanilla Creamer. You see, nothing says fall like pumpkin spice! I don't know about you, but I can't get enough pumpkin spice; I'm obsessed! Another reason to celebrate the season—the creamy taste of pumpkin pie spice in your cup, minus the sugar! And if I can get all the sweet and creamy flavor of French Vanilla, none of the sugar. Then party on! Fall Party Fun This looks like a really gorgeous and professional set-up. However, it's easy to create an outdoor party space. I used the dining table that I normally have on my backyard deck. If you don't have a table you can use, just grab a card table. I have a fall throw that I keep on my couch. I grabbed it to use as the table cloth. Then, I used the wood trays that I have on my coffee table and sofa table as well as some empty apple cider glass jugs. I took some of the grass from my outdoor setting and placed it in the jugs to create a triangular set up that is perfect for good design.

We gathered our encouraging and beautiful friends to sit around the table to enjoy an intimate evening of conversation.
Autumn is a beautiful time of the month to host an outdoor dinner party. Growing up on a rural farm in Vermont, we often hosted many dinner parties on the porch or the terrace at peak foliage. Even in early November, when the trees have lost their glorious leaves and the cold winter wind blows in, w

IMPORTANT MESSAGE ABOUT THIS GARLAND: I have completely run out of the rose gold shimmery tissue and will be replacing it with rose gold shiny mylar. Photos will be updated shortly, but, for now, please contact me if you would like to see this combination with mylar instead of shimmery tissue. I do not offer banners with words or phrases like some of my customer reviews show. They were purchased from other vendors. I'm all about the tassels here at Tassellove. Earthtones, burgundy and rose gold mylar tassels make this garland so warm and beautiful. This would look perfect for a Harvest party or Thanksgiving dinner, or over your fireplace mantel (but make sure they're out of the way of the flames! Right?) I used shades of brown, burgundy, and rose gold to create this gorgeous garland. Every tassel is tied to the twine so you can hang it at a deep swoop or from a balloon with out the tassels slipping. They're loose enough that you can move them closer together or farther apart if you'd like. All Tassellove garlands are fully assembled and ready to hang right out of the box. This is not a kit and no assembly is required.

Happy Fall-oween! Autumn’s just around the corner, so it's the perfect time to begin planning your harvest festivities. With all of its tasty treats, fun activities, and back-to-back holidays, Fall is full of reasons to celebrate. We threw a gourd-geous harvest party featuring three styling options that work for both Halloween and Thanksgiving. So, read on for all the details and our best Fall-themed party ideas to celebrate the coziest (and pumpkin spice-iest) time of year! To keep things simple, we designed a versatile harvest party setting that complimented the three partywear-inspired themes we had in mind. If you want to recreate something similar, we suggest having the same autumnal color scheme for your backdrop, decorations, and floral arrangements. We stuck with shades of orange for the most part, but threw in some neutrals like gray and brown to add some dimension. For decor that’s both Halloween and Thanksgiving approved, we chose faux pumpkins and harvest wheat bundles. These orange honeycomb pumpkins are wonderful because they come in a big set with various sizes. We recommend scattering some along the length of your party table, then layering the rest with your larger harvest decor. If you consider balloons to be a one-and-done decoration, think again! We try to reuse balloons whenever possible, so Sara from Pop Park City helped us harvest the orange balloon garland from our Vintage Halloween shoot, and give it a new life. She fluffed it up a bit, tied in some new colors, et voila: the perfect Falloween balloon backdrop! Our first harvest Halloween party idea is a real hoot! This theme is perfect for a pumpkin carving party or a kid’s Halloween costume party. To start, we suggest laying out a nice neutral-toned cloth table cover. This grid-patterned tablecloth is one of our favorites because it pairs beautifully with any Fall tablescape. Then, line your party table with lots of Autumn accents. We used pumpkins and fall florals, but candles, apples, or fall leaves are also wonderful ideas. Shawn from Flower Bar Co made this stunning arrangement using seasonal flowers in shades of orange, white, and deep purple. Crisp Fall florals are essential for a harvest-themed celebration, so we suggest displaying a couple arrangements on your table. Dried bouquets are another fabulous option for Fall fêtes, in fact, you can even dry out your arrangements after Halloween and keep them for your Thanksgiving table! Our pick of the patch for party supplies are these pumpkin napkins and Halloween-themed plates. We paired them with this fun witch’s broom cutlery set and vintage Halloween cups. And there you have it—the perfect set-up for a harvest festival feast! Baked goods seem to taste even more delicious when there’s a nip in the air, so we suggest serving something sweet at your Autumn party. We chose a buttery biscoff cake with pumpkin patch toppers and matching cupcakes made with this adorable kit. If you want to kick things up a notch, incorporate your treats into the Falloween fun. Light up the fire pit and get some s’mores cooking, or prepare some caramel apples and have a little decorating party! Because, as we always say, the more excuses to eat all the Fall treats, the better! A Halloween party without costumes is like pumpkin pie without whipped cream—you don’t necessarily need it, but it makes it way better. We love the idea of staying on-theme and dressing up as cute harvest critters and woodland animals. After all, whooo wouldn’t want to wear this adorable owl costume? All it takes is a little hocus pocus to turn a pumpkin patch party into something witchier. We love the look of combining classic fall decor with spookier elements, so we added some boho witch-themed party supplies to create this next tablescape. We kept the basics the same, but switched up the tableware and added a few Halloween decorations. Can you believe those flowers are the same ones we used previously? The spooky ghost bucket we put them in practically transformed them to look like an enchanted witch’s boo-quet. For tableware, we recommend keeping the cutlery and simply swapping in this pumpkin plate and coordinating cauldron plate, then add in this copper gingham cup. Put it all together and alakazam—you’ll have yourself a hex-tra special witch-themed party set-up! Now that Halloween is covered, let’s transition into the Thanksgiving party territory. If you followed our lead and stuck with harvest-themed decor for your Halloween parties, repurposing them for your Thanksgiving feast is easy as pumpkin pie! This lovely tablecloth came in handy once again, but this time we hung a Fall flower garland across the front. While we used it as a Thanksgiving decoration here, this garland would also look stunning draped at any harvest Halloween party. Even better, incorporate it into your Autumn home decor so it’s present for every Fall gathering! For a heavenly harvest table setting, we suggest using lots of patterns and pumpkins. We love this brown floral place mat and how it gives off a rustic farmhouse feel when paired with these pumpkin gingham napkins. There are tons of terrific options when it comes to the perfect Thanksgiving plate set, so we can’t just recommend one. We chose to alternate the bamboo pumpkin plates and gingham pumpkin plates—an excellent idea if you also can’t limit yourself. The pumpkin face cups from our Halloween table looked just as darling here, so we set them alongside the cute copper cups. Then, we completed the tablescape with some orange and gold cutlery, pumpkin surprise balls, and festive turkey hats (of course!) No need for new dessert ideas, because the cake and cupcakes look (and taste) just as delicious sans toppers. However, if you do wish to embellish, it doesn’t hurt to add another cake topper or candle set, especially if your celebration is a Fall birthday party! Non-alcoholic drinks for Thanksgiving round out the selection of beer and wine for the holiday perfectly, ensuring there's something for everyone. When I'm hosting an event, I'm always focused on the food. Consequently, drinks are often something of an afterthought, especially for holidays. When we have friends over, usually I stock up on local beer
