In this past year he has worked on conquering his nafs and leaving play in order to pray. Through this self-discipline he was able to be steady in his salah by the time his 7th birthday rolled around. Friends & family joined as we Salah-brated Zayd and his commitment to worshiping Allah even when it felt hard! We not only wanted to share this to celebrate zayd but also to inspire parents to try this with your own children! We celebrate so many accomplishments but salah is one that even us as adults struggle with. We have to show our kids that SALAH is a gift they’re inheriting from Allah.
