I have always desired a lightweight, pliable version of porcelain and stained glass, to bring my creations to the next level, so I took it upon myself to create Porcelain 2—my own lightweight wearable porcelain and stained glass.
This season was stuffed with symbolism and Easter eggs that manifested impeccably through the characters' wardrobes.

“The body itself is a most sacred garment….” ‘Corpus Fraterna’ is based on the notion of building a newly formed body from the inside out. Using my two brothers, both surgeons, as its beginning, the collection investigates contour and line with particular focus on inter-connectivity and the garments relativity to one another. The fusion of muscle to bone is illustrated using adverse textiles to create a new informed silhouette in achromatic black.
In the new Netflix series ‘Inventing Anna’, clothing plays a pivotal role, with costume designers Lyn Paolo and Laura Frecon recreating Anna Delvey’s designer-filled wardrobe perfectly.

I have five favorite designers: Dior, Balenciaga, Balmain, Givenchy, and Fath. I wanted to share a few favorite fashions by Jacques Fath from 1950. I have been obsessed with the magazine L'Officiel and L'Art et la Mode since 2008. I am in the process of archiving the fashions that I love from 1947- 1962. This is taking me forever, because I might have not liked how I archived them originally and might of had to start over. That is how I roll and it is really annoying. Most of these pictures didn't have the designers names on the photo. I added them to help me keep track of them. Here are my top 10 favorites in no particular order. I want to make all of these designs for Gene and friends. Cute! I wish there was a photo of what the top of this dress looks like. Love the collar of this suit! I love the collars on this suit and the next suit. Love the flowers on the bodice and cuffs. I love finding the sketch and the photo of the same outfit. The next three outfits have the same fur collar, I must really like it. I am almost ready to post about my newest pattern, hopefully later this week.
Sylvie Facon is a French designer whose creations are like no other. Combining her talent in painting, embroidery, and textile design, the artist has developed a unique style that is characterized by lace, guipure, tulle, and muslin. Her dresses are true works of art, with each one telling a story through a combination of textile patterns, draped effects, embroidery stitches, touches of paint, and shards of pearls. Inspired by nature, vegetation, and flowers, as well as Pre-Raphaelite painting and the dreamlike universe of tales, Facon's designs are imbued with a sense of poetry that is both enchanting and captivating.

When I opened my mailbox on the 20th of December my jaw dropped to the floor. I set a goal for myself last year, to have one of my costumes be worn by the likes of Lady Gaga or Rihanna. I was always taught to set an unreachable goal for myself, but I never expected to be asked by the woman of the year 2020, A-list celebrity Cardi B.
