"Evening By The Pond" Giclee edition print - printed especially for you! The second photo from the top shows the print in the matte. The signature and title will be added per order, so that's not shown in the photo. I have also included a photo of what this might look like framed and hung in a room setting! image size: 11" x 14” matte size / frame size 16” x 20” A stock size frame should be easy to find, and you can just pop this print right in! Each print is signed and titled on the matte, and dated with the year the original painting was done on the reverse. Each print includes foamcore backing, mounted print, matte and is individually bagged in acetate. The mattes I use are all white – white reflects color from surrounding objects, so no matter where you hang this print or want to move it around your home, the matte will pick up reflected color from the room! Plus, it really makes the color in the prints pop. This print will be made specifically for you! Specifics: This print is reproduced from an original painting by me, Jan Schmuckal. It is printed in-house on lovely, Epson Watercolor paper. I experimented with many different papers before I settled on this one: It is archival, water-resistant, fade-resistant, and has a beautiful richness! My prints are made using Epson Pigment Inks, which are tested and guaranteed not to fade for at least 120+ years. COPYRIGHT: I retain all copyrights to my artwork. ALL MATTED PRINTS SHIP VIA USPS PRIORITY MAIL - you are paying actual shipping costs plus materials for shipping. Please be patient with shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond my control with postal processing facilities. EVERY package I ship goes thru the Chicago USPS hub. No refunds due to shipping delays will be issued. I'm working hard to ship weekly to avoid any extra delays beyond my normal processing time. A note: if you live in an apartment building, and you MAY live in a building with good neighbors, or a doorman, or in a splendid neighborhood....but I can't tell that....so I will require a signature on orders shipped to an apartment or suite.
"The Lake of Love - Weeping Willow," by Marie-Joseph Iwill (c. 1918) DIMENSIONS • 9" x 12" (Image: 7.25" x 10.5") • 12" x 16" (Image: 9.63" x 14") • 16" x 20" (Image: 11.75" x 17") • 20" x 30" (Image: 16" x 23.25") • 24" x 36" (Image: 19" x 27.63") Archival Inkjet on Fine Art Paper Smooth Surface - Matte Finish - Inset Borders ART-CENTRIC DESIGN ----------------------------- Vintage art is not standardized. The original works are usually too long, or too short, to neatly fill a store-bought frame. Most shops arbitrarily crop the artwork to match, leading to claustrophobic prints with missing or partial elements. These modifications — sometimes trivial, sometimes ludicrous — are not always shown in the product photos. We believe that the purpose of art is not to fill a frame; it is the purpose of a frame to showcase the art. Our prints have inset borders that make up any differences in proportion between the artwork and a standard frame, so that you can experience the art as the artist intended. They look sharp in beveled mats, may be float mounted, or inserted directly into standard frames; the borders providing a mat-like accent around the image. There are many styles from which to choose. Framing is a fun, creative process that enhances the artwork and livens your space for years to come. Should you like any advice, feel free to reach out. CUSTOMIZATION AND IMAGE REQUESTS ----------------------------- We are happy to customize our prints to fit your frame. Borderless prints may require the artwork to be cropped to fit a new aspect ratio. In such cases, we will provide a mockup to ensure that the final product meets with your approval. If you’re looking for an artwork that is not in our catalog, feel free to ask if we can provide it. We will print any public domain or openly licensed image that is available in high resolution. MUSEUM QUALITY ----------------------------- Giclée process prints are the gold standard in fine art reproduction. We use a matte finish, cotton fiber paper to maximize detail while eliminating glare. Our prints display a wide color gamut, deep blacks and beautiful tonal transitions. Produced using only archival materials, they will not fade or yellow, but maintain their original quality for as long as you own them. HANDMADE DECLARATION ----------------------------- To assure artistic quality, all of our production and design is strictly in-house. Every print has been proofed, calibrated and inspected for defects. We do not drop ship, resell or make use of third-party production partners. SHIPPING AND PACKAGING ----------------------------- All orders ship within one business day via USPS First Class, Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express. Sizes 9” x 12” and 12” x 16” ship in a flat configuration, unless combined with larger prints, which require tubes. We will replace any lost or damaged items at no expense to you. HAPPINESS GUARANTEE ----------------------------- We will promptly address any issues that may arise with your order. If you are unhappy with your print for any reason, you are welcome to return it for a full refund.

About The Artwork “Another way to look at meditation is to view the process of thinking itself as a waterfall, a continual cascading of thought. In cultivating mindfulness we are going beyond or behind our thinking, much the way you might find a vantagepoint in a cave or depression in a rock behind a waterfall. We still see and hear the water, but we are out of the torrent.” ― Jon Kabat-Zinn, Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness Meditation in Everyday Life Original Created:2018 Subjects:Landscape Materials:Canvas Styles:Fine ArtImpressionismRealism Mediums:Acrylic Details & Dimensions Painting:Acrylic on Canvas Original:One-of-a-kind Artwork Size:15 W x 30 H x 1.5 D in Frame:Not Framed Ready to Hang:Not applicable Packaging:Ships in a Box Shipping & Returns Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments. TITLE: Circling Low DESCRIPTION: The canyons and green landscape of Iceland are unbelievable and simply stunning. They are a fantastic addition to the interior of any place as they bring the viewer immediately out of their thoughts and into a place of stunning beauty. Filled with natural wonder, and the essence of nature is clearly communicated by simply looking at the photograph. There is a strong contrast of tones here which brings out the green. The moss and fauna that covers most of the Icelandic ground here is growing on black sand that is volcanic in nature. This being one of the most active volcanic areas of the world, much of the landscape reflects this unique nature of Iceland. **I encourage potential customers to order metal prints - the quality of metal prints is worth the extra money, and they don't require frames Please note that some photographs will require cropping in order to fit within a specified size. He worked with a loaded brush directly upon canvas, without the aid of a drawing or underpainting; capturing every nuance of mood and personality, every play of light upon flowing garment, with an apparent swanlike ease. Working in this fashion he completed many hundreds of portraits during his career, and each is a fully realized masterwork with its own particular voice. About Keith Haring, Art in Transit: Subway Drawings with Photos by Tseng Kwong Chi: This highly collectible & well preserved 1984 Keith Haring monograph examines them much historic & seminal chalk drawings done by Keith Haring on blank advertising spaces in the New York City subway during the early 1980s. "An art book, a photography book, a collection of graphic jokes, a celebration of city life, a happening...'Art in Transit' is a collection of Keith Haring's subway drawings, which lights up the subterranean vistas of the New York City subways with radiant energy." (publisher’s statement) Soft cover; 95 pages; 1st edition 1984. Approximately 8 x 11.5 inches. Very good overall vintage condition with some slight shelf-wear. String spine; well-preserved. Unsigned from an edition of unknown. Introduction by Henry Geldzahler with a statement by Keith Haring. Photo documentation by Tseng Kwong Chi. Artist Statement: “I have been drawing in the subway for three years now, and although my career aboveground has skyrocketed, the subway is still my favorite place to draw. There is something very “real” about the subway system and the people who travel in it; perhaps there is not another place in the world where people of such diverse appearance, background, and life-style have intermingled for a common purpose. In this underground environment, one can often feel a sense of oppression and struggle in the vast assortment of faces. It is in this context that an expression of hope and beauty carries the greatest rewards.“ (source: Keith Haring Foundation). Keith Haring was an American artist and social activist known for his illustrative depictions of figures and symbols. His white chalk drawings could often been found on the blank poster marquees in New York’s public spaces and subways. “I don't think art is propaganda,” he once stated. “It should be something that liberates the soul, provokes the imagination and encourages people to go further. It celebrates humanity instead of manipulating it.” Born on May 4, 1958 in Reading, PA, he grew up in neighboring Kutztown, where he was inspired to draw from an early age by Walt Disney cartoons and his father who was an amateur cartoonist. After briefly studying commercial art in Pittsburgh, Haring came across a show of the works of Pierre Alechinksy and decided to pursue a career in fine art instead. He moved to New York in the late 1970s to attend the School of Visual Arts, and soon immersed himself in the city’s graffiti culture. By the mid-1980s, he had befriended fellow artists Andy Warhol, Kenny Scharf, and Jean-Michel Basquiat, and collaborated with celebrities like the singer Grace Jones. Diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in 1988, Haring’s prodigious career was brief, and he died of AIDS-related complications on February 16, 1990 at the age of 31. Before his death, Haring established the Keith Haring Foundation, a non-profit committed to raising awareness of the illness through art programing and community outreach. Throughout his career, Haring made his art widely available through the location of his murals, as well as through the Pop Shop—Haring's own storefront which he used to sell his memorabilia. The artist’s mural Crack is Wack (1986), can still be seen today on a retaining wall along FDR Drive in Manhattan. Haring’s works can be found in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C. The vintage moody oil painting of blooming peonies is a stunning work of art that captures the delicate beauty and rich texture of these iconic flowers. The painting is rendered in delicate tones of pink, and with subtle highlights of white and green that create a sense of depth and dimensionality. The peonies themselves are the focal point of the painting, with their voluminous petals and intricate centers rendered in exquisite detail. Each flower is depicted in various stages of bloom, from tightly closed buds to fully open blossoms, giving the painting a sense of vitality and movement. Overall, the vintage moody oil painting of blooming peonies is a masterful example of the art of oil painting, capturing the essence of these beautiful flowers with skill and sensitivity. Whether displayed in a living room or a cozy bedroom, it is sure to captivate and inspire all who view it. The art is printed on a thick archival grade, poly-cotton blend canvas to provide greater durability. The canvas is pH neutral and acid free and will not yellow over time and will support dazzling colors that are consistent and accurate across a wide gamut. Canvas is 1.25" thick and stretched over kiln dried pine bars to ensure that the canvas print does not warp or bow over time. The design of the stretcher bars are rounded and beautifully beveled to allow minimal contact with the canvas. We also offer black floating frames as a distinctive framing choice that can set your artwork off and garner more attention for it. Floater frames give art the illusion of floating inside the picture frame without touching it, which creates an interesting visual detail and a sense of three-dimensional depth in the overall display. A benefit of the floating frame over regular frames is that it does not cover the front of the image, allowing the entire front of the painting to be displayed. The floating frame helps to separate the painting from its surroundings and draws attention to the artwork itself, providing a modern and elegant look to your artwork. The ready-to-hang design means you can enjoy your new art right away: sawtooth hanger is installed for the stretched canvases, framed canvases have installed hanging wire.
