I love Gum Blossoms. Whenever I see them they bring back the childhood memories of my favorite book "Snugglepot & Cuddlepie" by May Gibbs which I still have sitting in my bookshelf. The illustrations were so amazing and had a real Australian feel to them. My mother also had a May Gibbs book when she was a child, she in turn handed it on to me, it also sits in my bookshelf (although a little worse for wear)
Wrapped within the piecey curls surrounding Miho Hirano’s subjects are twigs, vine fragments, and clusters of pink blossoms. Using a cool color palette tinged with blues, the Japanese artist (previously) paints ethereal, introspective portraits of women enveloped in movement whether through small fish swimming around their torsos or branches growing from under their hair. Hirano tells Colossal that she tends to center her oil-based works around finding harmony and the inevitability of change, particularly in relation to life’s fragile nature. More
This right here is the PERFECT example on how you can still have a neutral color palette, AND color in your wedding florals. Keeping your colors subtle will give you that sophisticated and elegant look that most are trying to achieve with neutrals.
Pure pink and green elegance. These delicate pink ranunculus are also called Persian buttercups. Wouldn't this be the perfect bouquet to send to parents of a new baby girl?

Mysterious women are delicately rendered in surreal graphite portraits by Japanese artist Ozabu. Working on warm-toned paper, Ozabu uses a combination of meticulous linework and astoundingly smooth blending to create images that are simultaneously dramatic and soft. Young female subjects seem to fuse with ravens, chrysanthemums, and bonsai trees, blurring the boundaries between human and nature. The self-taught artist refrains from speaking about or explaining her work, instead allowing each ineffable drawing to spark the viewer’s imagination. More
