Real wings of a very tiny common house fly. No harm was done to the fly to obtain these wings!! I guess, like the bumblebee and the and ladybug before him this poor thing too died of natural causes. It was lying in the window sill this morning. The wings are so tiny (just a few mm), one got torn while putting it on the scanner. I copied & pasted the one wing I had left, so that's why they're identical to one another. Since you’re not trying to get this fly to float it’s not as bad as you might think. So grab some materials and give this pattern a try.
