Original and rare Muse poster for Absolution album It's hard to believe that Muse have been rocking our world for well over 20 years. Matt Bellamy and company hailing from Devon, England have released 6 studio albums during this period. These include masterpieces, Absolution with the Muse poster featured here and Black Holes and Revelations, both of which earned multi-platinum status. Known for their superb live show extravaganzas, Muse look set to continue for the next 20 years at least. Absolution was the 3rd album by Muse released in September 2003. The album followed Muse's diverse musical tendencies and elaborate sound, whilst having a more consistent theme throughout. It is a noticeably darker and heavier album, with a focus in the lyrics on the theological and apocalyptic concepts. It reached number one in the UK Albums Chart and yielded the band's first top 10 single hit, with "Time Is Running Out" reaching 8 in the UK Singles Chart. In 2009, Kerrang! voted it the second-best album of the 21st century thus far.
