Hand Painted Wood Sign Bohemian a vagabond, free spirit, artist, writer, musician Open Minded Thinker Authenticate Soul One who believes in Truth, Freedom Peace & Love This sign is one of my favorites!! This measures 11.5 x 17.5 inches tall give or take a few 10ths of an inch ;) Base has been painted black, aged & distressed. Lettered in Cream and has a hand rubbed Beeswax Finish. There is a notch on the back for easy hanging, signed & dated. Would you like the sign a different color? Message me or add “Note To Seller” for color change at no additional charge! ORDERS ONLY: Once your full payment has been received, your sign will go into production. If you have any special requests or customization requested, please add your requests to the comment section on your order!! Turn around time is 10- 14 days, but I am usually able to ship within 10-12 days of your paid order. I ship USPS and will provide tracking information when your sign ships. If you need it sooner, we can work that out, just message me. Each sign is made for you, so each sign is unique, no two are identical. All of my base painting & lettering is hand painted. Brush strokes may or may not be seen. All of my signs are Rustic & Primitive in Style. Due to the nature of the wood there will be variances in knots, color and cracks. These natural flaws in the wood are what make each piece unique with a character of its own. ALL of my signs are made using NEW Clean Top Grade Knotty White Pine that was cut right here in the USA. All wood is ¾ night thick. My Pallet Signs are all made by me, using fresh clean pine, never dirty used wood. Wood screws & glue hold my pallets together. Each sign is hand sanded, painted and distressed by me, using many coats of paint to achieve that worn old look. My painting, aging technique & lettering is all Hand done. Small imperfections are part of the hand stenciling process, so you may see a slight imperfection on my signs here & there. There is a notch on the back for easy hanging. Made right here in the USA, in the Foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains. Do you have some “Words” you’d like on wood? Message me, I can design anything you’d like and put it on wood. Most of my Signs can be ordered in a larger size and different color. Please send me a message with color request & size preference for a quote. Thanks so much for stopping by….

When you have spent most of your life seeking the approval of others, living a life that you believe needs to be approved by others, or being a rule follower, it can be difficult to break out and be a free spirit. I have actually been giving this quite a bit of thought lately, and have come to the conclusion that in order to have the life I want I am going to have to break the ties that bind and become more of a free spirit. How do we become free spirits? 1) Is there something you feel passionate about, but haven't had the courage to take action on? Being a free spirit means that you may have to bypass practicality and instead follow your dreams. That may sound scary at times, but in the end, it can lead to true satisfaction and happiness. 2) Being a free spirit requires living in the moment. Instead of worrying about what others think of you or what is going to happen tomorrow take time to savor the moment you are in right now. Use all of your senses to enjoy where you are now. This is where meditation can help. 3) Embrace Humor. Have you ever noticed how freeing laughter is? We all get into uncomfortable situations, but free spirits may find themselves in more of those situations. Look for the humor in even the stickiest of situations. Laughter and humor will lighten your load. 4) Just let go and trust yourself. Trust that you know yourself better than anyone else does. Trust that you know what is best for you. Trust in your own path. Do you consider yourself a free spirit or want to become more of one? If so, what are some of the things you are doing? I just found out that I have been accepted at the glasgow school of art! I am really chuffed! I really didn't think I was going to get in. At my interview they asked me what I disliked about the contemporary art world and I went on a 10-minute rant about Damien Hirst's stuff. But I got in!! I need 2Cs in my A levels to claim my place, and 1E in any subject if I choose to go to Leeds uni. I'm deffering my entry there for a year incase America goes tits up, its always useful to have a plan B. I feel great! I found another hate website last night, but instead of feeling sorry for myself, I am not going to let it get to me. Bullying is something I've experienced since I started school, and I've noticed that it's even worse on the internet. Anyone who gets hate mail and anyone who gets bullied online I feel for, its surprising how many people do. If I put myself out there like I do then I have no right to complain when it backfires on me, but I really do feel for people who are just minding their own business and they get bombarded with abuse. But at the end of the day, I've always found that the only way to deal with the negativity that is just a part of life is to try really hard just to be a good person and be as kind, happy and friendly as you can. Because then when you do get abused you can at least say to yourself that you're trying. A funny video someone sent me to cheer me up :) What are your views on hate mail and internet abuse flickrites? Have any of you had to deal with it?
