Towards the end of the year, after we have covered everything I can possibly think of in Social Studies and Science, I like to go over Health with my little ones. There is a Health Curriculum Book that I made copies of years ago. I tried to make it more kid friendly and to my little ones style and liking. So I created this sweet packet. I truly love every single printable in this set. And after talking with my husband, (phys ed/health teacher), he said we should make more packs later on that are all kid friendly and relatable health packs! I'm excited to show you my Fruits & Veggies Health Pack I put everything in here that I know my little ones will really enjoy doing wether it's for morning work, centers or for homework. Here's a sneak peak and what's inside… I made posters on important facts and info on fruits and veggies. Then I made a poster describing the differences between the two. (don't mind my effort in trying to be fancy with the polka dot background. I gave up after the first pic as you can see) I added some cutting and pasting activities. My students love these kinds of centers! Students can work on this together or on their own. I think it would be a great center to just toss in! I like this activity because it gets the kids reading, writing and thinking about what the right choice is. There are a few of these in this pack and I think it'll be a hit with my little ones. I made one of these for fruits and veggies. So cute. =) My favorite? This sight word game: "Junk Food" I added a center in this pack. I know my little ones love sight word games so I created one with a twist. Heres a few shots so you can get the jist. Comes with a recording sheet so my little ones can jot down their words. What do you think? This pack is perfect for teaching your little ones all about fruits, veggies and staying healthy. It's necessary to teach your students that it's important to make healthy choices and with this pack you can do just that. This is loaded with printables, centers, fun reads and much more, your students are sure to love. These activities are perfect for centers, morning work, homework or during free time.
