There’s something wonderful to be gleaned about the night Jacob spent wrestling with the angel–he wouldn’t let the angel go until the angel blessed him. It’s widely thought that the angel was the Incarnate Christ, and that time spent wrestling was Jacob’s full surrender to be dependent on God . . . and God alone. […]
Against all odds should be the title for this one! I have been sick, and still went to the beach because I didn't want to lose my ticket, then my flight was cancelled, and it was almost impossible to find flights a few hours before the trip. Once there, my friend only had a couple of days because he got a phone call that his uncle was ill and had to go back. Anyhow, we made ourselves pick up all our stuff and just head out for the beach. Of course there were drunk people all around yelling and whistling at us the whole time and it was hard to keep a pose since it was pitch black and the tide was crazy... But I think it was well worth it in the end! Thanks to my good friend Mario who put up with me! ;) (and nearly drowned) ... Please check out my beloved friend and artist Aurelio Monge, we are soon to start a collab project ====================================================================== Please make sure to like my Facebook page

Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24 It is not true that the Bible teaches multiple views of marriage, and therefore the Bible’s clarity is diminished on this question. The Bible does record, for example, that “Lamech took two wives” (Genesis 4:19). But the Bible is not thereby endorsing polygamy, but indeed is casting doubt on polygamy. The role of Lamech in the text is to show “a progressive hardening in sin” (Waltke, Genesis, page 100). We invented polygamy, along with other social...
Gospel Doctrine Lesson #3; Moses 1:27–42, Moses 2:1–25; 3:1–14, Moses 2:26–31; 3:7, 15–25. The accounts of the Creation in Moses and Genesis are devoid of woman’s role in this series of events outside of the creation of Eve. Yet, LDS theology tells us that we have a Heavenly Mother and that She was involved in the Creation, that She is […]
