Diplomée en 2010 du programme de Maîtrise en Arts Visuels de l’Université d’Ottawa, Geneviève Pratte développe depuis maintes années une pratique en peinture et en sculpture inspirée du paysage et de l’environnement. Originaire de Gatineau, elle obtient un baccalauréat en Arts Visuels de l’Université du Québec en Outaouais, puis participe à plusieurs expositions collectives et individuelles dans la province. Sa recherche porte sur le paysage, sur notre impact au sein de la nature et de l’écosystème. À l’image de sa personnalité, son travail propose des compositions éclatées, un choix de couleurs vives et intenses, ou la spontanéité et l’intuition sont de précieux guides.

About "Interior Scene" by Geneviève Zondervan (French 1922-2013) oil painting on board board: 9 x 10.5 inches Superb mid-century oil painting on board by the French artist, Geneviève Zondervan (French 1922-2013). The painting has excellent provenance, having come from the artists estate in France. Zondervan's work has a beautifully tranquil and light feel to it, with a sense of space and time. Zondervan served on the committee of the International Biennale des Femmes Peintres et Sculpteurs and was a frequent exhibitor with them, as well as at the Salon des Independants since 1950 and Salon de Montrouge (Silver Medal, 1974). Condition report: The painting is in very good and sound condition.
