Megalophobia is the fear of large objects. Some common triggers include tall skyscrapers, large statues, vast mountains, big ships, and even animals like elephants or whales. But for a more comprehensive and vivid list, let's visit the subreddit 'Megalophobia.'
What’s the weather like up there? Do you play basketball? Were you always this tall? That’s just a bite-sized collection of the types of questions that tall people have to deal with on a daily basis. However, most of them smile, chuckle, and get on with their day without worrying too much.
The fox plays a role in Japanese culture that's unusually rich and complicated. Beliefs that developed when people lived much closer to nature persist in stories, festivals, and language. Even in these rational times, the fox has a magical aura that still lingers. The fox is associated with Inari as a symbol, a messenger, a servant, or maybe more. Inari is the Japanese god of foxes, of fertility, rice, tea and sake, of agriculture and industry, of general prosperity and worldly success, and one of the principal gods of Shinto.H/t: tofugu.com

_________________________________________________________________________________________________ ABOUT APOLLO __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Apollo the Octopus is a life-sized snuggle buddy! With long, floppy tentacles he naturally poses like a real octopus. He has happy, shining eyes and enough suckers on his tentacles to make you feel like you’ve accomplished something tremendous by the end of this project! This floppy friend is a large amigurumi with lots of repetitive parts, making him a slow and steady project, similar to crocheting an afghan. This also makes him a therapeutic project to relax and zone out with while travelling in the car, bingeing on your favourite series, or watching the kids’ soccer game. His suckers are crocheted onto his tentacles as you go and each sucker will leave you with only one thread to weave in. Apollo can be made with or without his suckers, depending on how much time you’d like to spend creating your gigantic new friend. __________________________________________________________________________________________________ SUPPORT __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Visit Projectarian on YouTube for a helpful video. Duplicity is a garter stitch shawl knit from a single skein of gradient yarn or a mini skein set. Instead of working from one end of the color progression to the other, Duplicity moves from both ends of the color progression toward the middle, melding colors together.I drew my inspiration for Duplicity from 1980’s friendship necklaces. I know they are meant to be cute, two friends sharing a heart, but this melancholy child thought it looked as though the girls who wore them were broadcasting their broken hearts. Of course, that is why I loved them, and why I went on to design this shawl. You will need two circular needles in the size needed to obtain gauge.

Cringe is as cringe does. Even though the internet is full of wonderful things like cat pics, wholesome local news, and articles written by yours truly, it’s also home to the vast and spooky wilderness where you’ll find the most bizarre and cringe-worthy posts. And it’s the members of the ‘Cringetopia’ subreddit that bears the heavy burden of documenting the cringiest examples to share (and publicly mock!) with the world. These cringetopians have a duty to show us what to never ever do while at the same time providing us with some hilariously weird content.

What if we lived in a world where giant cats and dogs roamed the earth?

A microbe, or microscopic organism, is a living thing that is too small to be seen with the naked eye. We need to use a microscope to see them. Until now, that is. This cute little plush microbe expanded 1,000,000 times its normal size will remind one of an invisible world that exists on, in, and among us every day. Sperm cells are male reproductive cells. They have a head, which is the cell's body, and a tail, which is the flagellum that propels the cell. Because they need to be efficient, they contain lots of mitochondria for energy and a nucleus to deliver DNA. Once a sperm reaches the egg, the female reproductive cell, it makes a totipotent zygote, dividing and eventually making up all of the cells in the body. Size: 5"- 6" A white plush giant sperm cell with two blue eyes on either side of the head and a blue bow.
It's worth traveling to Northern Ireland just to see this.
