Last weekend I made a trip from Walla Walla, WA to Winthrop with some other photographers to capture the hot air balloons and snow. Downtown the glass blower was creating so we checked in on him. The local magazine (Methow Valley) featured Garth Mudge, the glassblower in my pictures, in the summer of 2007 on the cover and pages 8 & 9 www.methowvalleyarts.org/magazine-pdfs/summer07screenpdf.pdf I've always admired paperweights. After taking lots of pictures of Garth in action and taking pictures inside the shop, I purchased one of the small paperweights with multiple colors winding through it. This is the one I lusted after but it cost too much for me.
