Techniques & Breakdown Some of the techniques you will cover in this course include: Design Transfer, Padding, Metal Thread Application During this course, you'll master the traditional art of transferring your unique goldwork design through the traditional technique of prick and pounce. You will explore the precise order of goldwork, beginning with various padding methods, before delving into the application of sparkling metal threads to elevate your goldwork piece. Materials & Kits For this course you will need a Uniball Gold Gel Pen. The rest of the course materials will be sent out to you. This class will be taught on a 10 inch seat frame. You will need a 10 inch seat frame or an equivalent embroidery frame or slate frame for this class. You will need to supply you own embroidery equipment (scissors, needle threaders, daylight lights etc) to suit your learning needs. For this course you will also need a Gold Gel Pen to transfer your design. We recommend a Gold Uniball Gel Pen (0.5 mm). You will also need a Pencil. Shipping and Technical Information If your order includes other products alongside your online course these will be shipped separately to your course materials kit. Please keep this in mind for international orders as any customs fees will be charged on each package. All International Parcels will be shipped via express courier two weeks before this class is due to start. Please do not book onto this course if you are within the two week window before the course starts and you live outside of the UK. UK parcels will be shipped three days before the course is due to start. UK parcels will be shipped express via Royal Mail.
