#10 is one of three iconic 50’s wedding dresses to feature on the list. Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy wasn’t yet an international style icon when she married on September 12, 1953, but her stunning frock by dressmaker Anne Lowe is still a statement of class, taste, and timeless embellishment that references design details seen on wedding gowns of the 1860s-1880s, while still being iconically 1950s. #9 is a wedding dress with a difference. Mia Farrow’s suit for her July 19, 1966 marriage to Frank Sinatra was clean, modern and fun, the epitome of 60s mod and the total antithesis of the 1950s ballgown wedding dresses. Period costumes, Edwardian dresses, Victorian dresses, vintage shoes, vintage jewellery - I always loved it. I think I should be born in another era. And the period films - I adore period fashion. And of course I have fallen in love with the Edwardian dresses in Downton Abbey. They have made me look for other beautiful outfits from that era to get some inspiration for my new line of period dresses. This gorgeous dress is made of green shade delicate, silky chiffon (shimmering in two shades - green and capuccino), capuccino satin, fully lined. Beautifully finished with silver embroidery, silver beading, green pearls and vintage laces. The dress can be fully customized, made in different colours, made of silk for the additional cost of silk etc. Made to order - leading time 4-6 weeks depending on my order book. Please see the sizing guide here https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/471979838/size-chart If you need custom size, please contact me with your measurements.
