Dedicated to Grace Patricia Kelly Grimaldi (1929-1982), American actress and Princess consort of Monaco, and her family
From Audrey Hepburn, to Halle Berry, to Sandra Oh, these are the best Oscars dresses that definitely made fashion history.

In anticipation of the upcoming royal wedding on July 1-2 of Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock. Grace Kelly must be on her son’s mind. We know her for her beauty, talent, style, and grace-- and decades after her passing Kelly continues to fascinate us and remains a star. I thought I’d follow her journey and visit her homes from Pennsylvania to the palace in Monaco. While attending the Cannes film festival, Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III met while Kelly was touring the palace in May of 1955. This is where their love story began, and in January of 1956 they were engaged, and married in April of the same year. It was a golden age of flying - glamorized by first class passengers being fed from silver service food trolleys and celebrities posing next to planes before jetting off around the world. Or in the case of Playboy's Hugh Hefner, posing on a rug with a girlfriend inside his luxurious customized aircraft 'The Big Bunny'. These remarkable photographs capture air travel in all its glory between the 1930s and 1970s. They include Marilyn Monroe posing for photographers at New York LaGuardia Airport and legendary British rock band Led Zeppelin lined up on the tarmac next to their plane The Starship. Those familiar with the Duchess of Cambridge’s wardrobe will know that her pair of Castañer espadrille wedges have become a staple of her summer dress code. But Kate isn’t the first star to show allegiance with the Spanish brand. In fact, Grace Kelly and Salvador Dali were exercising Castañer’s beach-ready potential nearly a century earlier, while Oprah, Alexa Chung and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley have worn the platformed version of the espadrille in recent years.
