This is a concise, dynamic PowerPoint and Google Slides Presentation that has interesting visuals. The notes detail the geography, achievements, social classes, leadership, economy, and polytheistic religion of Ancient Mesopotamia with a check for understanding questions after each section. There is also great 2-page notes and a graphic organizer also posted. The graphic organizer includes fill-in-the-blank key common core vocabulary for social sciences that can be used with this PowerPoint. It's for absent students, too because the same information is on the notes and PowerPoint. ________________________________________________________________________________ ♥♥♥SAVE BIG! This is both a printable notes and graphic organizer or a Google Ready slide graphic organizer that explains the Heian Japan. The notes show how the Heian Court Nobles were disconnected from the provinces, which led to chaos outside of nobility, and eventually, the need for Japanese Feudalism. This resource fits perfectly with the Heian Period PowerPoint as the information is the same. Students can fill in the graphic organizer while the teacher presents. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ►►► This product is also available in DISCOUNTED bundles!►►► ⭐M EDIEVAL JAPAN UNIT BUNDLE ⭐ MEDIEVAL HISTORY YEAR IN CURRICULUM ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Terms of Use ☺ ©Instructomania, Inc. Get your students investigating how new ways of thinking inspired great developments in government and science during the Enlightenment. This Common Core resource packet has a mini-DBQ that is designed to be similar to the New York Regents exam and SBAC. The DBQ is divided into a primary source document analysis and a written response section. Students are expected to respond to questions, find evidence and provide commentary. It fits perfectly with the Common Core reading and writing standards 6-8.1-10. Here’s what’s included with each DBQ: 1. A focus writing response question prominently on each page. The focus question for this DBQ is: In what ways did the shift from faith to individualism inspire great ideas of the Scientific Revolution and Enlightenment? 2.Historical background introduction followed by a DBQ student task list. 3. Seven varied primary source and secondary source documents with short answer questions. These can also be done separately as a stations work format for another option. Specifically students analyze the impact of theory and innovation by Copernicus, Galileo, Montesquieu, Locke, Petrarch, Descartes and Gutenberg. 5. Three writing response options so teachers can choose by class level or teaching preference. Each option includes instructional materials. 6. Student writing templates for each writing response option that both include stem sentences and do not. 7. Guided practice writing worksheets and a commentary stem sentence printable. 8. Rubrics.
