I love love love small chapels! One day, I will get to visit all these and maybe, just maybe, get married in one of them too :) Oooookay, over the top daydreaming. My keso self slips every now and then. Fine, revise. Maybe, just MAYBE, something romantic will happen with me and my special someone in one of these chapels. First up, Tukon Chapel, Batanes It was love at first sight. Next, Schoenstatt Shrine, Cebu Simply, B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. (photo courtesy of Sabs Elane) Third, Fuerza de Sta. Isabel, Taytay, Palawan (thanks Aaron!) Simplicity is Beauty. (photo courtesy of Daryl Capanzana) Last but definitely not the least, Agios Ioannis Chapel, Greece I'd climb that rock to get to you :) I am sure there are tons of other more lovely small chapels out there but these will do for now. Smaller chapels make me feel closer to Him. Thinking about it now, no wonder I preferred the Shrine over the Chapel in Woodrose or the PGP Chapel over the MBS Chapel in La Salle. Intimate. Just the way I like it.

Happy Accidents on Aegina Island, Greece Sometimes, the happy accidents of travel are far more rewarding than our planned intentions. We learned this lesson first-hand when we visited Aegina Island, located in the Saronic Gulf 17 miles (27 km) from Athens. We weren't supposed to be on Aegina.
