we got this old squier cheap from a friend. My brother was doing alot of psychedelic art at the time and we kind of kidded around about making it a psychedelic guitar. Figured we'd take it apart, sand it down, paint it up, refinish it and put it back together & see if it played. Well, I got this much of the front drawn on in black, then got pregnant with maya (march 03) and the project got stowed. We rooted it out when we were getting the kurt cobain sweater out of the attic last weekend, and it seemed like I should finish it. Even though the only psychedelics I am privvy to involve weeks of sleep deprivation and the wild pounding in your head that you can only get after 13 hours worth of teething 10month old and a very active & inquisitive 3.5 year old. :) It's still a fun guitar to be coloring up. the back is liable to represent more of my current buddha-y thought process, plus some science, astronomy & physics imagry, and - well, we'll see how it turns out, but I think it's starting to come together in my mind!
