Lion - Sterling silver guarantee Lower case y - Date letter for Birmingham 1923 Anchor - Identifying mark for the Birmingham Assay Office. B.G.Ld - Registered mark for Birmingham Guild of Handicrafts Ltd. A superb solid and heavy key in its original presentation box. The cast, square shaped grip decorated all round with pierced "C" scrolls. In the centre, a shield, engraved with the original presentation details :- J. F. SEPTEMBER 27th. 1923 The reverse side has been left completely blank. The key stem is of square section, with cut corners. Comes in its original presentation, black leatherette box, bedded on purple velvet, and the lid lined with purple silk. SUPERB VERY NEAR ORIGINAL CONDITION. Key length:- 136 millimetres / 5.35 inches. Key weight:- 75.9 grams / 2.44 ounces.

BGM111 was a Bristol Lodekka LD6G / ECW H33/27RD purchased new by Central SMT as their B111 in May 1960. The first Bristol Lodekka LD arrived in 1955 and set the pattern for well over 100 deliveries over the next six years, before newer models started to take over. B111 was caught at the Broomielaw, heading for Anderston bus station.

Tokyo-born artist Masaaki Sasamoto creates surreal worlds bathed in gold, mixing mythological iconography and the painter’s own, distinctive figures. The butterfly is one of the most common components in Sasamoto’s work, whether enveloping his subjects or fully embedded into them. Some of these scenes also carry notes of steampunk and futuristic, manga-inspired flourishes.
