GLAMOUR’s Women of the Year Awards 2023 Entertainer Honouree, Hannah Waddingham, shares what she's learnt about life.
In Hannah's Bliss by Dania Voss, Rocco didn’t really have a great start in life. Abandoned by his parents when he was just a child, he learned to live life the hard way. Joining the Marines gave him a direction, but getting out and joining Dixon-Shaw Security was what centered him. He now had a family that he loved dearly; the only thing missing in his life was a partner whom he could cherish forever. So when he meets beautiful Hannah, he feels as if his life has changed. He wants to love her and protect her at all costs, but she is currently in a toxic relationship that she cannot get out of and he is willing to do anything he can to save her. Will they get a chance at love? Or will they fail to be in each other’s lives? Hannah's Bliss by Dania Voss is a sizzling romance that just had me interested and invested from the moment I read the blurb. There is something about a novel where the chemistry between the two protagonists is just off the charts and they evoked such strong emotions in me. Nothing was forced in this novel, not the plot, not the character development and not the flow of the story. The characters were given ample time and page space to grow as individuals and as a couple. I loved the fact that their pairing was not an instant love kind of pairing and the author made sure that both Hannah and Rocco were trying and testing the waters before they jumped in. Out of these two characters, Rocco was my favorite because he was the most rounded. While Hannah had her own struggles and hurdles to overcome, Rocco had my heart from the very beginning. He was humble yet confident, sassy, and the fact that he was a Marine added to his appeal. This was a very exciting romance, one that I will revisit again very soon.
