It's the start of a new week, and I'm tickled pink to have been invited to be a Guest Designer at The Shabby Tea Room . With the theme "Spring Bliss," you know it's going to be another fun challenge! Debbie's our host, and our challenge is to use yellow, green, and white, and include a flower and polka dots. Here's my card for this week's challenge... based on this pretty photo: Yes, I can guess what you're probably thinking. When I first saw this photo, I pulled daisies out of my flower stash to use on my card. But then I remembered that I had some cherry blossoms in there, too...and cherry blossoms are one of the first signs of spring...so white cherry blossoms it was...just for the fun of it. :) As you can see, there was a lot of die-cutting done for this card. The outside finished dimensions are 4" x 6", and the largest die on the front is backed with lightweight white chipboard to support the edges while the card is standing upright. The inside die cut topped with the yellow polka dot paper is adhered with foam tape for just a bit of dimension. Then the spray of cherry blossoms, leaves, pearls, and a small yellow seam binding bow were added... and just a snippet of pretty white lace topped with a double line of white pearls... and lastly, a peek at the inside... Supplies: Patterned paper: Echo Park Dots & Stripes/Candy Shoppe collection Dies: Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles; Memory Box Elegant Scrollwork; My Favorite Things Royal Leaves Cherry blossoms: Wild Orchid Crafts Lace: TheFunkieJunkie.com Pearls: Recollections Sentiment stamp: Inkadinkado Hug Snug seam binding Thanks for stopping in for a visit...I hope your week is starting with a smile!

Hi everyone, if you’re also following me on my Facebook or Instagram pages you would have…
Happy Tuesday Peeps! Today I am sharing a card I made using the color challenge this week at Splitcoaststampers. The colors are some of the retiring colors from Stampin' Up, Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and River Rock! Seriously, what are they thinking....LOL!! Love all three of these colors, but I am sure we will embrace the new colors as well, I must say the upcoming NEW IN COLORS are soooooo pretty!!! Can't wait to get those! Anyway on to the card, I went with a layout I seem to use alot, simple but pretty. The DSP you see here is from the Simply Sent Everyday Elegance Kit.. The base of the card is Not Quite Navy and then Baja Breeze and then some whisper white at the top of the next layer, I embossed that with the perfect dot EF. Then the bottom of this layer is the DSP from the Simply Sent Kit, actually the kit contains cards, I just cut them apart to use the parts I want. I stamped the roses with baja and not quite navy, the leaves are river rock, I achieved the two tones of river rock by stamping the top stamp several times, re-inking with the river rock each time. The sentiment comes from the "Happiest Birthday Wishes" and is stamped with Not Quite Navy Ink onto the whisper white circle. I added some sticky back silver pearls to the flower centers, the top corners of the card and under the sentiment. Thanks for stopping by today! Vicki

We made it to Friday and another fabulous TGIF Challenges! This week we have a funs sketch for you to play along with! Not only did I use the sketch for inspiration, but I used the beautiful rainbow of colors as well! I stamped a variety of Sending Smiles flowers in shades of Polished Pink, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue and Starry Sky. The stems were stamped in my favorite Granny Apple Green! I pulled the die cut Sending out of my scrap pile to add to the Birthday Wishes, which I heat embossed on Starry Sky. A simple white Baker's Twine bow and a few of my beloved Brushed Brass Butterflies finished things off. I can't tell you how HAPPY I am that these pretty little butterflies are here to stay for another year. I love them! I hope you'll join along in our sketchy fun this week! It's always a treat to see what everyone creates! Happy Stamping! Products Used:

I went deep into my stash of Designer Papers and pulled out this beauty. So much coppery goodness going on here! The design was inspired by the TGIF Challenge #tgifc372. The card base is Blushing Bride. The gorgeous coppery paper is Love You Always Specialty DSP (2021). The butterfly is cut from some Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper I've been hoarding. It's mounted on a circle of Vellum using Mini Glue dots. The sentiment is from Honey Bee (2020). The lovely vertical stripes are a strip of washi tape. The inside sentiment from Humming Along (2019) is stamped in Soft Suede ink. I hope you're inspired to pull out some of your older stamping supplies and give them some more love! Welcome to another fabulous Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge. This challenge is full of cheerful spring-inspired images that are full of creative inspiration. I ordered the Country Woods Suite Collection after OnStage and the cute little birdhouse from the Country Birdhouse bundle was perfect for this challenge! . I love that you can either stamp and die-cut the birdhouse or you can build your own birdhouse with the additional dies. I chose to build my own, using paper from both Country Woods and Country Lace DSP. The striped Country Lace pattern in the background is my favorite! I stamped the bird and floral images from Country Birdhouse and colored them with Calypso Coral and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends. The sweet birdie was colored with Boho Blue, Pool Party and Pecan Pie. The Country Flower dies helps to add some extra foliage and flowers as well. The Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls are so pretty! They filled the center of each flower with just the right amount of shimmer. A simple Hello Friend sentiment finished this sweet little card. Oh, and I can't forget the adorable hanging bow at the top of the bird house! All of these items will be available with the launch of the new catalog on May 1, 2024. This will be a suite you want to add to your collection for sure! Happy Stamping!

Painted Seasons is the star of the show for my Facebook Live presentation on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at 7:00 eastern time. I will create three projects for you that I hope you will make for yourself as well. The sentiment on the card can be changed to whatever you need. It would make a beautiful get well card, thinking of you, or even a sympathy card. I will show you how easy it is to create a treat holder that looks like a small purse. It holds a chocolate treat. Finally, I will create a treat box that can
