Dry shampoo is great for refreshing your hair's style, getting rid of unwanted extraneous oil and dirt in the hair and giving it an overall freshness that is needed. HASK makes four wonderful Dry Shampoos (6.5oz./184g; $7.99). They are: Argan Dry Shampoo, Coconut Dry Shampoo, Chia Seed Volumizing Dry Shampoo and Charcoal Purifying Dry Shampoo. Each of the main ingredients helps with a different problem that you may be having with your hair, thus the dry shampoo can help alleviate the problem. I was able to try out the Charcoal Purifying Dry Shampoo and will be reviewing it below. First I would like to tell you a little bit about the other dry shampoos that HASK makes though, so you can make an informed decision about which one you might want the most. All of the dry shampoos are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten and artificial colors. ARGAN DRY SHAMPOO: It is infused with an orange citrus scent and has long-lasting oil absorption. Removing excess oil from your hair is now easier than lather, rinse and repeat. Skip a wash or extend the life of your style with this lightweight, Argan infused formula that will leave your second day hair even fresher than the first. An ultra-fine rice starch acts quickly to soak up oil, sweat and odor, leaving hair feeling revived, bouncy and clean. Saving time has never been this glamorous! COCONUT DRY SHAMPOO: This dry shampoo is infused with a tropical coconut scent and has long-lasting oil absorption. It's very easy to remove excess oil now more than ever. CHARCOAL PURIFYING DRY SHAMPOO: This is the one I tried. It is infused with a botanical citrus scent and has a very long-lasting oil absorption. That is what charcoal is famous for. Like all HASK products, it is free of: sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten and artificial colors. This is for an oilier hair and scalp. This dry shampoo makes is extremely easy to skip a wash or extend the life of a style with a very lightweight formula that will leave your second day hair even cleaner than just after you shampooed it! The product contains an ultra-fine rice starch that is infused with charcoal powder that acts quickly to soak up oil, sweat and odor. It leaves hair feeling soft, clean and fresh. The days of oily hair are so over! The best way to use it is to shake the product well before and in-between uses. Section off hair, hold can 6-10 inches from head and spray onto roots. Wait 30 seconds and then brush through or massage with fingertips. Voila! Fresh hair! I found this product to work extremely well on oily hair. Even my daughter, who also has oily hair, thought it worked very well for her. We both liked that it seemed to just suck up the oil immediately, and it just disappeared.
