Heaven gives glimpses.... Rila Monastery, Bulgaria
God will enable us to look and behold the Spiritual realm! (Revelation 4:1-2) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. Lord. "Going to "The Third Heaven" was a phrase I literally experienced when in prayer with The Living Savior Ministries at a Healing School 2006. Working evenings I was not able to attend but the Sunday classes. There was a session in the morning and one in the evening. That day brought a new perspective on the Divine Glimpses the LORD had been giving me and that I was not the only one that has seen them. When the evening class was over, Thurman gave the audience instructions on who they would be praying for that night. He told everyone only the ones who would not be able to attend any more meetings could meet him up front. They would pray for the others on the last day of the training session. That was my cue to go forward for prayer. When it was my turn I prayed with Thurman and his wife Cheryl. Thurman asked me some questions and then asked what I needed to be prayed for. I told him for the pain in my lower back I was having because of a fall. The three of us made a prayer circle. Thurman quoted the scripture, Matthew 18:18,19. Then he asked me, "Do you understand what that means?" "It means that we are agreeing together, believing what the Word says and Jesus is right here in the middle." When He spoke those words, "And Jesus is right here in the Middle", I was transported to Heaven with Jesus. I was standing beside Jesus, but I could not see him, everything was so bright. The brightness did not hurt my eyes, but I was not able to see anyone, even though I felt the presence of a lot of people. I did get a glimpse of two pillars on each side of me, when a person from the church took hold of my "uplifted arms", bringing me back to the church. It was like my arms were the pillars. I knew what had happened, but I was a little dazed when Thurman asked, "Are you healed?" I told him I wasn't sure. He then said, with a commanding voice, "Walk down the isle and see." I walked down the isle and kept going. As I was going out the door, Thurman yelled to me, "You claim that healing young lady". I replied, "I will". My family was waiting for me in the van. I climbed in and told them, "While being prayed for I had been taken to another realm." At that time I didn't know that it was called "The Third Heaven". Raising my arms in Church was something I had not done before this experience. I thought it was a radical thing to do. Growing up in a Baptist Church in the past, you didn't do things like that. Now I know that it is a very important thing to do while singing and praising the LORD. GOD is teaching me how to truly Worship Him. After the "Third Heaven Glimpse", it's like I was ignited with excitement and a stronger desire to know more about GOD. I started the Cleansing Stream Program and at the same time took a class on how to know more about the Holy Spirit. I was seeking the Lord with all my Heart and studying the Word every free moment I had. The more Word I was absorbing the more I was hearing from GOD, through the Mighty Holy Spirit. Of course I was very interested in pillars after that wonderful experience, so I went into research about their meaning. Also, when praising GOD at Church I raise my arms in praise, whenever I can. One thing I did not know before was that there are pillars in Heaven, and if I had, it was one of those verses I did not take as serious as I do now. Before I read the Word, I pray that the Holy Spirit will give me all divine wisdom and knowledge and all divine understanding of the Living Word of GOD. Below is one of the articles I found while doing my research about pillars. PILLARS * ILLUSTRATIVE OF o Stability of the heavens. Job 26:11 ~The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. o Stability of the earth 1 Samuel 2:8 ~He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them. Psalms 75:3 ~The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah. o The church. 1 Timothy 3:15 ~But if I tarry long, that thou may know how thou ought to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. o Stability of Christ Song of Solomon 5:15 ~His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars. Revelation 10:1 ~And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: o Ministers Jeremiah 1:18 ~For, behold, I have made thee this day a defensed city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. Galatians 2:9 ~And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision. o Saints who overcome in Christ Revelation 3:12 ~Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. ~Debi Webster~ YADA KATA KATARTISMOS We are to watch to see what God will say to us (Habakkuk 2:1) I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. Four years later, the Holy Spirit began showing me again, the importance of praise to Him. We had a "Cleansing the Church" retreat with Timothy Davis as the quest speaker. After the retreat was over, we had a bonus meeting the next day, which focused on the Holy Spirit. I was really excited because the LORD was moving in the church weeks before and during the meetings, preparing us as a church for this bonus night. That evening as I was getting ready to go, the Holy Spirit said two words, very loud to me. During the meeting, I went forward, with others, so Timothy could lay hands on us to receive our spiritual tongue from the Holy Spirit. GOD gave Timothy the same words and this was a confirmation that these new words would be part of my prayer language. The Holy Spirit had been giving me words in the past years, but I wasn't sure how to use them. We then continued repeating the words as we sang to a familiar tune. This felt awkward but did help with moving into more words from the Holy Spirit. Now knowing the words, but not knowing the meaning, I began a quest to find just what the Holy Spirit was saying. To my surprise I found them in my New Spirit Filled Life Bible, so I didn't have to look far. I was just elated, "Adah Kata", fit right in with "The Third Heaven Glimpse" and then Katartismos was a message for the church. ידה yâdâh yaw-daw' To praise, give thanks, acknowledge, declare the merits of someone. Yada is an important word for “praise” or “thanks”, and occurs more than 100 times in the OT, more then half of these are in the book of Psalms. The origin of this verb is the noun Yad (hand) which developed into the verb “yadah”, suggesting outstretched hands as a means of worship and of thanks. ידע yâda‛ yaw-dah' A primitive root; to know (properly to ascertain by seeing); used in a great variety of senses, figuratively, literally, euphemistically and inferentially (including observation, care, recognition; and causatively instruction, designation, punishment, etc.): - acknowledge, acquaintance (-ted with), advise, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware, [un-] awares, can [-not], certainly, for a certainty, comprehend, consider, X could they, cunning, declare, be diligent, (can, cause to) discern, discover, endued with, familiar friend, famous, feel, can have, be [ig-] norant, instruct, kinsfolk, kinsman, (cause to, let, make) know, (come to give, have, take) knowledge, have [knowledge], (be, make, make to be, make self) known, + be learned, + lie by man, mark, perceive, privy to, X prognosticator, regard, have respect, skillful, shew, can (man of) skill, be sure, of a surety, teach, (can) tell, understand, have [understanding], X will be, wist, wit, wot. God acknowledges that He has seen and heard the problems of the Hebrews and intends to become personally involved. Exodus 3:7 κατά kata kat-ah' A primary particle; (preposition) down (in place or time), in varied relations (according to the case [genitive, dative or accusative] with which it is joined): - about, according as (to), after, against, (when they were) X alone, among, and, X apart, (even, like) as (concerning, pertaining to, touching), X aside, at, before, beyond, by, to the charge of, [charita-] bly, concerning, + covered, [dai-] ly, down, every, (+ far more) exceeding, X more excellent, for, from . . . to, godly, in (-as much, divers, every, -to, respect of), . . . by, after the manner of, + by any means, beyond (out of) measure, X mightily, more, X natural, of (up-) on (X part), out (of every), over against, (+ your) X own, + particularly, so, through (-oughout, -oughout every), thus, (un-) to (-gether, -ward), X uttermost, where (-by), with. In composition it retains many of these applications, and frequently denotes opposition, distribution or intensity. After singing the new words with a familiar tune these words came out. καταρτισμός katartismos kat-ar-tis-mos' Complete furnishing (objectively): - perfecting. A making fit, preparing, training, perfecting, making fully qualified for service. In classical language the word is used for setting a bone for surgery. The Great Physician is now making all the necessary adjustments so the church will not be “Out of Joint.” The Greek word for equipping implies: 1. A recovered wholeness as when a broken limb is set and mends. 2. A discovered function, as when a physical member is properly operating. The work of the ministry is the enterprise of each member of the Body of Christ and not the exclusive charge of the select leaders. Taken together, Eph 4:11,12 reveal that the task of the gifted leader is to cultivate the individual and corporate ministries of those he or she leads. Being in Church with other Believers who have the gifts is one way to learn how to strengthen your Gifts. GOD wants us the Church to be united, One in the Spirit. We must become the true Bride awaiting her Groom, Yeshua. Dancing Before the Throne of God The Holy Spirit will take us up to other places in visions (Ezekiel 11:24) Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. While praying with a prayer partner, the Lord gave her a vision of me dancing before the throne of GOD. She asked me my favorite color, I answered blue, then she said is there another favorite color? I answered, rainbow colors. As she continued describing what she was seeing in the Spirit, she said that I was about the age of 12 and had long white hair. She told me that I was wearing a blue and yellow dress, with black patent shoes, dancing before the throne of GOD. When she had finished, I told her I do like yellow roses. After I said this, she gave a word of encouragement, The LORD wants me to tell you that He loves you very much. Hearing those words brought tears to my eyes and a tug in my heart, that had needed these words said. As we were talking, I rubbed above my eyebrow. She asked if I was OK. I told her, I had been having a pain there all day. She prayed for healing and as she spoke, I saw flames in both her eyes. I was actually seeing the Holy Spirit working, giving her discernment. It was an awesome experience. When God reveals to us visions of Heaven and ways of praise, I would say that is the way He desires us to praise Him. He does not give His children a snake or a rock for a spiritual gift, He goes a step further and invites you to the throne of God. The nation of Israel has used dance as a form of worship throughout their history. Several places within the Bible make reference to the use of dance as a form of worship. Prophetic Dance is a distinct form of Sacred Dance in which revelation is received by the dancer from God and manifested into movement to bring forth a message to people. It is important to understand that revelation is revealing or communicating divine truth that is revealed by God to people. God gives revelation through people in a number of creative ways, such as singing, writing, drama, instrumental music, and dance. The earliest mention of dance as a form of worship in scripture is in the book of Exodus, when the nation of Israel had just crossed the Red Sea. It says: “And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.” (Exodus 15:20) It is interesting that Miriam (the sister of Moses and Aaron) was called a prophetess, yet nowhere in scripture does it record a single prophecy that she brought fourth. However, praise dancing was taught in the school of the prophets. Apparently, the nation of Israel viewed dance as a prophetic gifting, and treated it as such. One of the things that King David is known for in the Bible is his praise and worship. Much of the book of Psalms (songs of praises) was written by him, and the Davidic style of worship has been practiced in Israel for many years, even unto today. Today, the resurgence of dance, and other forms of the arts being used in worship in Christian churches is referred to as the reinstatement of Davidic worship. King David himself danced before the Lord, when he brought the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem. “And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.” (2 Samuel 6:14) David also refers to dance as a form of worship in some of the Psalms he wrote. For example: “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.” (Psalm 149:3) “Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.” (Psalm 150:4) -Debi Webster- TAKING US TO NEW HEIGHTS Angels are sent to touch us in visions (Daniel 9:21) Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. Seeing this image while in prayer, while committing my ministry to GOD, I was taken to new heights with GOD. Also, this was a night I was trusting the Lord with the scripture He had given me as I prayed for guidance in attending a church. It is the scripture the Holy Spirit gave me that is now the name of one of my devotional blogs "Live, GOD! Go Climb GOD's Mountain". I had decided not to go the meeting that night and a friend said, "Just ask GOD and He will give you an answer to whether you should go or not". So, I did and went to prayer seeking what GOD wanted me to do. I received an answer, and called her back letting her know what GOD had showed me. We both were excited. It was a night that was planned by GOD and I had went down the right path. I went to the church in obedience to His answer and was blessed with a special touch of His presence, as each person was that night. You will not believe what the sermon was. Yes, GOD taking you to new heights. Habbakuk 3:19 19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. (NIV) 17-19Though the cherry trees don't blossom and the strawberries don't ripen, Though the apples are worm-eaten and the wheat fields stunted, Though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, I'm singing joyful praise to God. I'm turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. Counting on God's Rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I'm king of the mountain! (MSG) I am going to share with you some highlights of this wonderful sermon. "A Hind is a type of deer that lives up in the mountains. A Hind jumps instead of walking, with two feet up into holes and then they let go, and then those back feet go where those top feet are. The Word here says, the Lord God is my strength. It doesn't have to be my strength it is His strength. He will make my feet like Hinds feet, so, when you venture out and put those feet into new ground God is going to meet you right where you are and then He's going to take you somewhere else. He's waiting for you to put your feet into that new ground. And then He is going to make your back hind feet come up and meet those front feet, and He is going to take you into higher levels and higher levels, and higher levels. Every one of you here, have been called to new ground. Because you came out tonight and you came out expecting and I know tonight that here is not going to be one person that is not going to go to a higher level, because God said it, I believe it, that settles. it. Amen! When we know who we are in Christ we are instant in season and out of season. Let's take a look at 2 Timothy 4:2-3, which says, Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. (NIV) I would like share also the scripture from the Message Bible which is, I can't impress this on you too strongly. God is looking over your shoulder. Christ himself is the Judge, with the final say on everyone, living and dead. He is about to break into the open with his rule, so proclaim the Message with intensity; keep on your watch. Challenge, warn, and urge your people. Don't ever quit. Just keep it simple. You're going to find that there will be times when people will have no stomach for solid teaching, but will fill up on spiritual junk food—catchy opinions that tickle their fancy. They'll turn their backs on truth and chase mirages. But you—keep your eye on what you're doing; accept the hard times along with the good; keep the Message alive; do a thorough job as God's servant. (MSG) Is that a word just to a particular people, or to all believers? We are all called to preach the Word. We have a ministry of reconciliation. When you are born again and GOD came in your heart, Christ came in you. He is "The Hope of Glory", you were called to the ministry of reconciliation. And what that means is that your job, your honor, your privilege, your responsibility, is to reconcile others back to Christ. That's what Jesus left for! He said, I'm going and I'm leaving you to do my work. And we have to get built up, we have to know who we are. Who is going to follow you if we are just an old hum-drum person." -Bits and Pieces of sermon from The Hope Church Ministry- God did not disappoint any one who attended that Sunday night. If I would not have went that night I would have missed out on a Spiritual Blessing GOD, himself, had planned for me to be a part of. GOD, gave me a word and I stood believing what He said in the Word, when I asked Him diligently that afternoon. Isn't He an Amazing GOD! Yes, Yes, Yes, my soul says, Yes. GOD gives each of His children blessings like this all the time and they are for you too, when you seek Him! The vision of the Angel was a bonus. It was a messenger from heaven and was an answer to another prayer. While seeking GOD's guidance on finding a home, I prayed and told him specific things which would work for the family and some special things about the home which I would like. One of them was to be close enough to a Church, so I could here the Church bells ring. That next day after this sermon, we received an answer saying we could move into the house which met all the requests I had made in prayer. GOD is Amazing! When people don't understand the JOY I have, I pray for GOD to open their spiritual eyes, that they look up and believe that GOD will speak to them. Yes, I am head over heals in Love with my Creator, GOD. People just can not take the personal experiences a believer has with GOD away from you. Those personal experiences are the landmarks in our spiritual growth GOD gives to each of us. May GOD Bless you with all Spiritual Supernatural Blessings. -Debi Webster- WE SERVE AN INDESCRIBABLE GOD! God wants us to see His glory (Exodus 16:10) And it came to pass, as Aaron spoke unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud. I love going to church and seeing God move. Seeing him not only change other people, but He always seems to have something special for me. After getting home, and thinking about what an awesome God we get the privilege to serve and trying to grasp what kind of God he is and put it into words, I came up with the only one explanation, that we serve an Indescribable GOD. There seems to be no word in the human vocabulary big enough to describe Him! The many unseen supernatural blessings He shares with us, leaves me in utter awe of His ways. His ways are more than my human mind can absorb, and thus leaving me on my knees in a puddle of tears in His awesomeness. So, I will search Him with all my heart and pray that He will give me all His supernatural strength, wisdom and understanding to share His truth with others, that they might glimpse some of His awesomeness. Father, direct me down your path that all I do and say will be to give only You the Glory and Honor that You, Father, are Worthy of. Indescribable Lyrics Artist(Band):Chris Tomlin From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea Creation's revealing Your majesty From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring Every creature unique in the song that it sings All exclaiming Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing God All powerful, untameable, Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing God Who has told every lightning bolt where it should go Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night None can fathom Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name You are amazing God All powerful, untameable, Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing God Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing God All powerful, untameable, Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim You are amazing God Indescribable, uncontainable, You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing God Incomparable, unchangeable You see the depths of my heart and You love me the same You are amazing God You are amazing God -Debi Webster- A ROYAL POEM-THE TIMES OF THE MESSIAH The Lord Reigns-The Lord Jesus Reigns, a living reality-Psalms 93-100 Psalm 93: 1 The Lord rules as king! He is clothed with majesty. The Lord has clothed himself; he has armed himself with power. The world was set in place; it cannot be moved. 2 Your throne was set in place a long time ago. You are eternal. 3 The ocean rises, O Lord. The ocean rises with a roar. The ocean rises with its pounding waves. 4 The Lord above is mighty—mightier than the sound of raging water, mightier than the foaming waves of the sea. 5 Your written testimonies are completely reliable. O Lord, holiness is what makes your house beautiful for days without end. PS 93:1; 96:10; 97:1; 99:1-The Lord Reigns. Many Psalms refer to the Lord Jesus as King, but these Psalms don't only refer to him as king but the theme of the Psalms is the Kingship of Christ. The truth that the Lord Reigns. Some call these Psalms "The Sovereignty of God Psalms". "The Rule of Jesus", "The King of His Dominion". Let's pray that God Graces us, that God will make the Kingship of Christ a burning reality in our hearts. A living truth that God will make it burn in our heart that the Lord Jesus Christ Reigns. That God blesses us and begins to make that real unto us then our prayer would be fulfilled. The Lord Reigns are quoted in the New Testament. PS 97:7 - Hebrews 1:6. The New Testament expression of the same truth is the Lord Jesus Reigns. PS 103:19 refers to the Royal Psalms. Overview of the Royal Psalms: PS 95 - Song of Rest PS 96 - Song of Worship PS 96:11-12 - All nature is invited to join in the song. There is a song of Victory and a song of Service. Before we can sing these songs we will look at three glorious truths. These Psalms are a different kind of song, than 93 & 94. You have a principle, you have a message, you have a teaching. It's as if God is saying, if you see this truth you will sing the song in PS 95 and PS 96. You'll have a new song. It's as if God says now take a look at 97. God is saying if you learn the message of PS 97 your going to learn the song of PS 98. PS 99 is another message and PS 100 is another the song. We need to see what truth this is that produces this song. They all are about the Kingship of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ Reigns. The Three Glorious Truths Not only do these songs all teach of the Royal Kingship of Jesus Christ. This is the exact order in which you will experience it. You can't learn the second song until you learn the first song. You can't learn the third song until you learn the second song. Maybe as we go through these truths you can learn where you are. Not only do these Psalms touch on the royalty of Jesus Christ. You can't do God's will until you can delight to do His will, that's the delight we can't fake. These are the Songs He wants to write in our hearts as we go through these Royal Psalms. Submitting to His Kingship is the safest thing you could do. When you reject the Kingship of Christ you become an enemy of your own peace. Luke 19:41-42 Jesus says, 41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it 42 and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. PS 93 - The first Psalm that begins the Song, but then is the foundation. Everything rests on this and everything flows from this. Everything is built on this Glorious Psalm. The starting point of the Reign of Christ of the Song begins with: Entire Creator - Absolute Lord - Jesus seats upon a solitary throne, infinitely higher than anything. These verses teach that the Lord sits upon a solitary throne and He is irresistible in His reign and no flood can reach Him. The voice of the waves, the pounding of the waves and the breakers break, doesn't reach His throne. Nothing can contradict God's throne. The Lord Jesus established His throne. Royal Psalm number two: Psalm 93 and 94 together make the message. Psalm 94:20 talks about the throne of destruction. God allows some things, how can that be reconciled. Psalm 93 talks about the throne of God and that the Lord Jesus reigns. You have to read these two Psalms together. Psalm 94 contradicts Psalm 93. The Lord will not abandon His people. We ask, What's God up to? Why does He allow this? If He is King why? The message of Psalm 93 and 94, Once God's Spirit writes that truth in your human spirit, you will have to sing the song. One possible reason of Psalm 94 could be, God may be trying to work a change in your life. His eye is on everything that touches you and which concerns you. God is not out to destroy us. Maybe He wants you to know His love, His presence, His Grace. In PS 94: vs. 17, The Lord our help; v.18, Thy loving kindness, O Lord, will hold me up; vs. 22, He is my stronghold, the rock of my refuge. We say, maybe, He is chastening me and so then later it will feel good. Maybe, He wants me to know Him, so, maybe this whole thing is survival that I make it through this situation. Vs. 19, In chastening the blessings follow but it doesn't say after, it says, when it is happening, while you are going through it, thy consolations delight thyself. God will walk you through it. God may be saying, "Maybe, I'm bringing you right now into an intimate walk with God. Maybe, I'm bringing you in such a way you will experience the life of God in at the moment because the storms can't touch you, your heart is touched because . God may be allowing something with you that has nothing to do with you. He might be doing something in the World you might just be in the flow of things. Vs. 14, Something is going in the big scene. Vs. 15, God's says I'm working, He will develop it later on. PS 93 - The Lord Jesus Reigns PS 94 - It doesn't look like the Lord Reigns The message is, Take His Reign by Faith. God's not worried because He knows He is in control. He is not worried. Is it possible that I can be free from worry as God is. This will lead into the Song of Rest. He does Reign! The more you believe that the Lord Jesus Reigns, you are going to begin to Sing that Song. The Royal Song begins with the Call of Faith. Before we get to higher ground we have to start here. -Bits and pieces of a sermon from Ed Miller- The Ministry of Tears - Liquid Prayer God will interact with us about healing and prophetic words through use of visions (Acts 9:10) And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. (Psalm 126:5-6 (NKJV) Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him. "Tears in Scripture play a unique role in spiritual breakthrough. Here we discover that the planting of seeds accompanied by a spirit of brokenness will not only bring a spiritual harvest of results, but will leave the sower with a spirit of rejoicing in the process." (NSFLB) "Passion in Spiritual Warfare is Clearly Needed" -Charles H. Spurgeon- 1. Tears of sorrow or suffering (2 Kings 20:5). 2. Tears of joy (Genesis 33:4) 3. Tears of compassion (John 11:35). 4. Tears of desperation (Ester 4:1,3). 5. Tears of travail, or giving birth (Isaiah 42:14). 6. Tears of repentance (Joel 2:12,13). I think I have all these covered. Sometimes I feel like a big cry baby, but I know it is just the movement of the Holy Spirit in my prayer. Only God can break down those walls. Hallelujah! Psalms 126:6 “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” 1. “He that goeth forth” – The go in Soul-winning 2. “and weepeth” – the broken heart in Soul-winning 3. “bearing precious seed” – the Word of God in Soul-winning 4. “shall doubtless come again … bringing his sheaves with him.” – the certainty of results with God’s methods. 5. “rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” – the Soul-winner’s reward. Let’s ask God to make us Soul-winners. People all around us are dying without Christ. Natalie Wilson - Liquid Prayer - Lyrics I thought of you the other day and I prayed, You've been acting as if you're okay, But you're hurting inside with no one to confide, So God give me these words to say. Chorus: When your words can't convey what your heart needs to say, When you cry God hears you through your tears. And your stories are spoken God hears and He cares, For He understand your liquid prayers. I can see that your spirit is, it's broken and torn, Cause I've been where you are once before. And I know how it feels when you, ya can't say a word. When you're weary from the pain and hurt, so when... Chorus Bridge: Know that weeping may endure for a night. But joy cometh in the morning light. So be not dismayed for my God will take care. Keep the faith help is on the way! So stand still my sister, my brother be strong. Cause you're breakthrough is waiting today. You've been crying and my God has bottled your tears. And He's answering your liquid prayers. What you need to do is just hold on. Drive: Hold, on Every time, every time you cry (that He's healing you inside). Be strong, God understands (trust and believe) your tears. He's working it out for you, yes. He's doing it now for you, yes. -Debi Webster- PSALM 119 THE KEY TO HAPPINESS - Doing the Will of God Revealed in His Word Pray for others to see God also. God chose to warn unbelievers with visions (Genesis 20:3) But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife. Sunday morning I was reading PS 119. While reading it, the Holy Spirit pointed out that this chapter would be a beautiful prayer, using it as a prayer for your family, church, or universal. I read through the chapter again inserting the plural form as I read. The words hit straight to the heart-felt-tug of the situations dealt with on a daily basis. The Word is one way to strengthen your prayer life. The more we read, the Holy Spirit gives us understanding on a personal perspective. We receive supernatural encouragement through the struggles we are facing now. Prayer: Holy Spirit lead me to all discernment and understanding of the Word that I would bring only Glory to the Father. Psalm 119:41-50 (MSG) 41-50 Let your love, God, shape my life with salvation, exactly as you promised; Then I'll be able to stand up to mockery because I trusted your Word. Don't ever deprive me of truth, not ever—your commandments are what I depend on. Oh, I'll guard with my life what you've revealed to me, guard it now, guard it ever; And I'll stride freely through wide open spaces as I look for your truth and your wisdom; Then I'll tell the world what I find, speak out boldly in public, unembarrassed. I cherish your commandments—oh, how I love them!—relishing every fragment of your counsel. Remember what you said to me, your servant—I hang on to these words for dear life! These words hold me up in bad times; yes, your promises rejuvenate me. Verses 41-50 point out, to put your hope in God's Word, the Bible. It will comfort you in times of suffering and affliction. His Word will give you life. God's law is not restrictive; it only restricts from things that harm, and it liberates man to live in the fullness of God's perfect plan. (NSFLB) Reading verses 41-50 you will see that there is a letter in Hebrew, the Zayin. In my study of the Hebrew alphabet, it was interesting to see that each letter in the alphabet tells of the story of Jesus. The letter Zayin is considered a "crowned" vav. Just as vav represents "Yasher", straight light from God to man, so zayin represents returning light. Zayin is a crowned man (Jesus) equipped with the sword of the Holy Spirit. The sword mentioned in Hebrews 4:12 is (machairia), a "short sword" that was sharpened on both edges of the blade. The two edges represent the two main parts of the scriptures, (the Old and the New Testaments). Since the Zayin represents a weapon of the Spirit, remembering the Torah of Moses is here depicted as a great weapon to be used in spiritual warfare in our lives. -Hebrew4Christians- Hebrews 4:12 (NIV) 12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. The conviction of the Holy Spirit through God's Word. Understand that conviction of sin is an expression of God's mercy. It leads to forgiveness, which leads to freedom. (NSFLB) About Psalm 119: 1) It is the longest Psalm in the book of Psalms. 2) It is also the longest chapter in the Bible. 3) The Psalm is divided into 22 parts. 4) Each part begins with a different letter of the Hebrew alphabet. 5) In Hebrew, each line of these parts begin with that letter. 6) Is this significant? There's not a letter that doesn't honor God's word. 7) The content of this chapter is respect, praise, and honor for God's word. 8) God's word is described with several different words in this Psalm. a. Laws b. Testimonies c. Ways d. Precepts e. Statutes f. Commandments g. Judgments h. Word i. Truth 9) All of these words are used to refer to God's word. 10) There is great respect for God's word in this Psalm. 11) We ought to have this same respect also. 12) Without God's word we would not have the information we need for our salvation. 13) We ought to join the Psalmist in praising God for His wonderful word! ~Debi Webster~ HOLY OF HOLIES God will give us visions and we are to seek for the meaning (Daniel 8:15) And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. While in a prayer meeting the color of purple came and went with the color yellow as if moving. The color changed to just yellow and gold, and I could see two poles (horizontal) with a radiant light coming from in-between the poles. One pole seemed to be higher than the other, but it could have been the angle I was looking at it. I was standing in front, to one side and looking slightly down. As I looked I tried to figure out what I was viewing and then a wonderful thought came. A knowing, of where I was. I was in the Holy of Holies, but still wasn't sure, because of the smokey haze I was in. The picture above is an idea of what the poles looked like and the color. Of course, the man in the box wasn't there, and I didn't see the ark, but light in its place. This was the only picture close to what I saw in the spirit. ...THE ARK OF (THE COVENANT MESSAGE) IS FOR ALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD TODAY, TO OBEY... “For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me;” ~ Psalms 27:5 Honor and majesty are [found] in His presence; strength and joy are [found] in His sanctuary. ~ 1 Chronicles 16: 27(AMP) Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence. ~ Psalm 140: 13 “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place;” ~ Matthew 6:6 10-07-10 I am adding this youtube video address which has picture of the ark, similar to what I saw in the vision. The picture below is the angle I was viewing the ark. The video takes you to a good study of the menorah. Just copy and past in your address bar. Ark of the Covenant (In the Holy of Holies) This is where the presence of God resides in the Holy of Holies – it is a supernatural place where we meet the Lord. Prayer times here is in the presence of God - be still and listen! From here He will send you to do His work. Have a pen and paper for notes because He speaks to us here. Heavenly Father, when Jesus died on the cross You opened up the Holy of Holies by tearing the curtain from top to bottom so I could come in through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ. I see Your Ark of the Covenant Father and know that the three items You had placed there represent Your supernatural presence. In Your Ark is the rod of Aaron, which supernaturally budded; the tablets of law, which You supernaturally engraved; the manna, which You supernaturally provided in the wilderness for Your people. I enter into the Holy of Holies and run to the Mercy Seat on top of Your Ark of the Covenant and I see Your Shekinah glory. I see the throne of God. I see the Ark of the Covenant. I join You at Your mercy seat, in the Shekinah glory of Your presence, beneath the wings of the Cherubim. Dear precious Heavenly Father, I am in awe at Your supernatural presence. I could not be more humbled then I am by Your presence. I love You. I worship You. I adore You. Father, I know I am eternally forgiven. I am eternally declared righteous. I am eternally saved. I am eternally blessed by the Blood covenant of Jesus Christ. Thank You Heavenly Father, I know I am in Your Family. I know I am a child of Yours. I know I am living in the Holy of Holies and I desire to spend intimate time with You here in this place. I worship and honor You Lord. Now Father, I have many requests and I ask You to hear them. I will only ask what is Your will and promises; I will ask only so You will be glorified and neither myself nor anyone else will receive one speck of Your Glory. -PRAYER TIMES IN THE TABERNACLE- The Ark History (2 Samuel 6) It must be remembered that the ark is about 500 years old at this time. It's history is a bit unusual - it seems to go in and out of the memory of Israel. •It was made at the time of the exodus, at the direction of God. This was a time at which the Law was being given, and some of that law concerned the ark as well. But in the time of Moses and Joshua, the ordinances seem to have been followed strictly. •The ark was seen as the visible symbol of God's power. In its presence the Jordan stops flowing at flood stage; at its presence the walls of Jericho fall down flat. Whatever else might be thought, here is power. •Even the Philistines know this. They capture the ark (because of the evil of the sons of Eli, the priest.) Things immediately start going wrong for the Philistines. They put it in the temple of Dagon; Dagon falls flat on his face before the ark. The Philistines are smitten with a plague - of hemorrhoids. They shift it from city to city, and finally send it back to Israel on a newly made cart, with gold offerings for atonement. When the Israelites get it, some look into it - and are killed. This thing is dangerous. •It sits. For almost 75 years it is practically ignored by Samuel and Saul. It is not until David remembers the legendary power of the ark that it comes into the history of Israel again. Rules God seems to be rather strict about this piece of hardware. •While in transit, it is to be covered so that no irreverence may be done to it. •It is to be carried on poles - so that God will ride above the backs of the people, not behind them like a captive in a cart. •Only certain people - the descendants of Kohath - can carry it. God chooses, not us. •And - interestingly - when the High Priest went into it, he was to use so much incense (a symbol of prayer) that it clouded over the top of the ark, called the Mercy Seat. Political Significance David is an astute politician. He knows that he is ruling over a country of tribes, and the ark does two things for him: •By having it in his possession, he connects himself with the Moses and Joshua of legend - completing his image in the minds of the people as a man after God's own heart. Here is a symbol of power. •More than that, it is a symbol of the unity of the twelve tribes. There are twelve tribes, but only one ark. He who possesses it can legitimately claim to be the ruler of all Israel. Spiritual Significance Of far more importance to us, however, is its spiritual significance. There are three very important aspects: •It is the "ark of the Testimony." It, by its very existence, testifies both to the miraculous deliverance of the Jews from the land of Egypt (a type of sin) and their own sinful ways, which God dealt with in the wilderness. •It is said to carry the "name of the Lord." To a society in which a man's name was much more than a label, it was the one item which at this time could be said to represent God in physical form. •It is at the mercy seat that God met Moses. This was not unique; Samuel met him there also. This is the one spot on earth where God speaks to the prophets. This is, literally, the voice of God. Life of David - Look On The Heart To arrive at the Holy of Holies from the outer court, we would have already passed through three entrances: the gate, the door and the veil. We have now come to the ark which is not a room with an entrance but a holy cabinet. Ah, but there are objects inside the ark which can only be accessed by opening the lid, i.e. the mercy seat. The objects that we shall encounter in the ark are by far the most revealing typologically. We begin with manna, the water symbol noted earlier. According to Ex 16:14, they came with the morning dew (WATER) and appeared like frost (WATER). They melted (WATER) when the sun waxed hot (Ex 16:21). God told Moses in Ex 16:4, "I will rain bread from heaven for you." The Hebrew word used here for rain (WATER), 'matar' , is the same word used for the rain that caused Noah's Flood (Gen 7:4). The evidence that manna is pointed to by water is incontrovertible. The other three objects in the ark are: Aaron's rod that budded, the Book of the Law, i.e. the Torah (Deu 31:26) and the 10 Commandments. The latter two are a natural pair since the 10 Commandments are 10 out of the 613 laws of the Torah. Isaiah provides a vital clue to the symbolic identities of the Torah and the two stone tablets. We read in Isa 2:3-4a, "And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people." This prophecy will clearly be fulfilled during the Millennial Kingdom. It also foreshadows the ultimate fulfillment when Christ shall reign eternally at the start of the 8th Millennium. The 10 Commandments, the official law of a theocracy, is pointed to by the THRONE, symbolizing God's rule. According to Isaiah, all nations of the world shall go to Jerusalem, the house of God, i.e. TEMPLE, to learn of His ways by studying the Book of the Law, the Torah, for during the Millennial Kingdom "the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea." (Isa 11:9, Hab 2:14) The last object, Aaron's rod that budded, is left with the LIGHT symbol to match. It is not a force-fit as it may first appear since Aaron's rod is almost like the Lampstand -- an obvious LIGHT symbol! Both share these common features: a central shaft with branches, almonds, flowers and buds! (Ex 25:33, Num 17:8) The symbolic meaning of the almond rod is even more significant. There must be a good reason why Aaron's rod budded almond of all fruits. The almond blossoms in January. It is the first to bloom in the spring while other trees are still sleeping. It is the harbinger of spring -- the wakeful one. The Hebrew for "almond", shaqed, comes from the root, shaqad, meaning to be vigilant or awake, i.e. sleepless, hence to be on the lookout. Is this not required of the priest charged with trimming the Lampstand!? The parable of the ten virgins (Mat 25) is a perfect illustration of the almond rod a.k.a. Lampstand. The fire goes out if one is not vigilant in trimming the lamp and refilling the oil. To keep the fire burning requires constant zeal (LIGHT). For this reason, to the lukewarm Laodiceans the Lord issued this warning, "be zealous therefore, and repent." (Rev 3:19) Hence the almond rod signifies watchful, zealous and prompt service of the priesthood, appropriate characteristics of LIGHT. Light is service and works (Mat 5:16). The first vision given to Jeremiah proves the almond-zeal connection. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond [shaqed] tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten [shaqad] my word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:11-12) There is a play on words here. The Hebrew for "almond", shaqed, is morphed into its Hebrew root word, shaqad, meaning hasten or watch. The idea is, the God who slumbereth not (Ps 121:3, 4), watches His word to perform it speedily -- the meaning of the almond rod. Does not Scripture say no less than three times "the zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform..." ? (2 Kings 19:31, Isa 9:7, Isa 37:32) Thus Aaron's almond rod points to the LIGHT symbol convincingly. The Pentecost Age was fulfilled by the Spirit, who was poured out as Living WATER (John 7:38-39). WATER is the symbol of the Spirit. He was sent by the Son (John 15:26, 16:7). The Son provided the Spirit as the Comforter, the Spirit of truth (John 15:26). The words of Jesus (John 16:13-14) are ILLUMINED by the Spirit. The Spirit is the Seven Lamps of Fire burning before the throne of God (Rev 4:5). LIGHT is the symbol of the Son. The Son whose symbol is LIGHT, ministers with the Father's symbol, TEMPLE. The Spirit whose symbol is WATER, ministers with the Son's symbol, LIGHT. The Father whose symbol is TEMPLE, ministers with the Spirit's symbol, WATER Bible students have long known that deep secrets of God are hidden in the Tabernacle of Moses. Concerning its construction, Moses was instructed by God to "make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount." (Heb 8:5) The pattern did not originate from this world and it conceals eternal symbols and truths. The feasts of Israel -- the key to prophecy -- the blueprint of God's redemption -- are integral to the design. Then the Lord said to me. "You have seen well, for I am READY to perform My Words. (Jeremiah 1:12) READY, Shaqad (Shahkahd), Watching, waking, hastening, anticipating: to be sleepless, alert, vigilant; on the lookout; to care for watchfully. This verb occurs 12 times, including PS 127:1: Unless the LORD guards the City, the watchman stays awake in vain." For weeks this painting has slowly grown in my mind, the more it comes to life in my heart. There have been many times I sense Mother’s incredible love, power and wisdom through this frosted veil. It’s interesting to note that throughout history, the divine feminine attribute has been symbolized by water. Water is an element associated with healing, purity, calmness, life, creation and creativity -all being divinely feminine traits. The scholar Margaret Barker makes an intriguing connection between water, and the veil of separation between Heaven & earth. In ancient Jewish temples the veil was woven of 4 colors, signifying each of the four elements. She describes how these elements are what veil us from our Heavenly Parents. Dr. Emoto, a Japanese scientist, has conducted a series of experiments observing the substantial effect that intention alone has on the structure of water. WHAT IF the veil, instead of a wall keeping us from mother, can actually become a passage TO her? Looking at the veil, (anciently & symbolically) being comprised of water, I believe that through our intention, we have the ability to do as Dr. Emoto suggests & actually thin or alter it. President Monson said, “May we remember always…that the veil may become very thin between this world and the spirit world.” I believe that it is through pure intention this is possible. We can quite literally come to her & the veil may “become very thin”. Perhaps the veil can fluctuate like the water within this scientific study- depending on the expression of our soul, we create our own veil in harmony with our heart. We can create crystallized clarity or a thick, veil of dissonance if our intentions are not grounded in truth. In Dr. Emoto’s studies with water, the intention of love & gratitude made the most beautiful, crystalline clarity. Likewise, the more pure our heart, the more powerfully we reorganize the crystalline structure of the veil. We ourselves are made of mostly water, inherently tied to both the veil & Divine feminine. Centering our intention in truth, we find her force a familiar one –manifest in each of us. “In her waters, deep and true Lie the answers and a path for you.”

GOD's DESIRE: God's desire is to abundantly pour out His Spirit with dreams, visions and prophesy on all flesh (Joel 2:28) And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. As long as I can remember I have had very vivid dreams. I would always think to myself, man I can have some strange dreams and leave it at that. I was very ignorant in the real-life experiences with the LORD and did not know that GOD will speak to us in dreams. One particular dream that has stuck in my mind though, was when I was about 11 or 12, I remember running away from a huge bull with long horns chasing after me. This dream was a repetitive dream that would change a little each time. I was always afraid of that bull and ran from it. One night I woke in a sweat, because I had to climb a tree quickly to get away from it. Another night I woke up in fear, I had been running away from it and I had to jump up on top of our garage/barn, to get away from it. It just stood there waiting on me and when I tried to get down it would run over to me. The last night I had the dream, I was helping our neighbors put up a fence. They had left and I looked up and running towards me was that same bull with those big horns. I hurdled one fence and then another. When I looked back the bull was just tearing down those fences and still running at me, I wasn't sure where to go and just stood there. I then woke up and never had the dream again. While studying the Hebrew language, my attention went to the pictograph signs when I saw a sign of a bull. The sign for Aleph is the "Bull" and the sign for Chet is a "Fence" which means separation. So, just looking at the alphabet and interpreting that dream I would say, in my life GOD had to tear down some of the fences in my life that separated me from Him. That dream doesn't seem as scary now. From Genesis to Revelation, God has spoken to people through dreams and visions! But from the very beginning Satan has tried to make us afraid of using our spiritual eyes, hoping to make us too paranoid to want them opened. He has counterfeited God's visions with demonic visions, in hopes that we will fear seeing into the spiritual realm and will quench the Holy Spirit when He speaks to us through dreams and visions. In the beginning, Satan had a great fear that Adam and Eve would have spiritual eyes to see the truth, so he perverted the truth, in hopes of making them afraid to see with open spiritual eyes. Gen 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. In dreams GOD is sharing a part of Himself with us on a more personal level. Our creator wants to share with us, protect us, guide us, just as we as parents want to be there for our children. I now keep a pad and pen by my bed and write down the things the LORD gives me in my dreams. -Debi Webster- Ask GOD the Meaning of the Dream He Gives You God will give us His interpretation of a God dream (Genesis 40:5) And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison. Taking a class in, "Getting to know how the Holy Spirit Works", is a good place to learn about the gifts of GOD, and a good place to learn how to just ask GOD for direction, it helped me. Sometimes we don't seek GOD diligently enough and then wonder where He is. When I desired to focus on the Holy Spirit and get to know Him, and put Him first, I began seeing the things He wanted me to see. Through the dreams and visions GOD was giving me, and I knew they were from Him, I decided to search the Internet. I described one of my visions and it brought a site with John Paul Jackson's teaching. I had never heard of him before and saw his teachings are for the Seer and the Prophet to help them develop in their gift. I realized that was what I was, a Seer. I bought some of his Cd's which have helped a lot, but most of all they have encouraged me to use my gift for the LORD. I would like to take some of the Stream Ministry workshops, to improve this gift GOD has given. This dream was my first dream I had asked GOD to show me the meaning. It is one of those times when you wake up and you feel like you have literally experienced what has just happened. A dream that just won't let you forget because of the emotional impact and you still can't believe what has happened. But, it is a dream GOD soon reveals the meaning and something you have to let others know. In this dream I saw a young girl that was crying and she was walking towards me. When I looked at her, I had a knowing what had happened, as I looked down, she had been raped. I wanted to ask her if she was alright and as my eyes looked up, she was gone. I frantically tried to make myself remember what the girls face looked like. I could not remember. I woke and literally, was shaking. I began saying a prayer of protection over the young girl this had just happened to, and because it was a young girl I thought about my granddaughter, so prayed a hedge of protection over her. I called my daughter and told her about the dream. We prayed together binding that spirit in the name of Jesus. This dream would haunt me the next 2 weeks, and I knew God was trying to tell me something. While doing an intense bible study, I was getting ready to answer a question in the workbook, but had to take a bathroom break. I left and came back, sat down, looked down at the scripture to answer the question. I realized what I was viewing was not the scripture I had previously read, which was 2 Corinthians 9:8 found in the New Testament. I was now looking at the book of Song of Solomon chapter 8:8-9, which was in the Old Testament. Song of Solomon 8:8-9 says, "Our little sister has no breasts. What shall we do with our little sister when men come asking for her? She's a virgin and vulnerable, and we'll protect her. If they think she's a wall, we'll top it with barbed wire. If they think she's a door, we'll barricade it." . My thoughts immediately went to the dream with the young girl, and I knew God was trying to tell me something, but I did not have a clue. I had been trying to forget about the dream, but GOD had other plans. So, I asked Him to help me to understand what He was trying to show me. Later, I told my daughter what was going on and she too thought God was trying to tell me something and suggested I write down each detail. I began a diary, and also put down the days each event happened, hoping this would bring some light into the situation. A few days later, while reading the book, "Forever Ruined for the Ordinary" by Joy Dawson, I decided to do something she suggested. In section 3 titled, "Twenty four ways GOD Speaks", page 47 and 48, it gives ways GOD communicates to His people, which was very helpful. Reading the scripture she wrote, began to build up my faith even more. Psalm 119:105, God tells us His Word will give us direction for the next thing we have to do, as well as give us understanding of what we are to be doing in the future. Stepping out in faith, believing GOD would guide me through His Word, I applied the example Joy Dawson gave. I began speaking to God, about the whole thing. One of the things I did say to the Lord, was that I knew He was not a God of confusion, and I was confused at this moment about the dream He had given me. I prayed more and asked Him for understanding of what He wanted to do with the information He had been giving me. Trusting that I would get an answer, after praying these words, I opened my Bible and it opened to Isaiah 32. It was an answer, God was leading me through this. Safe Houses, Quiet Gardens (Isaiah 32 MSG) 1-8 But look! A king will rule in the right way, and his leaders will carry out justice. Each one will stand as a shelter from high winds, provide safe cover in stormy weather. Each will be cool running water in parched land, a huge granite outcrop giving shade in the desert. Anyone who looks will see, anyone who listens will hear. The impulsive will make sound decisions, the tongue-tied will speak with eloquence. No more will fools become celebrities, nor crooks be rewarded with fame. For fools are fools and that's that, thinking up new ways to do mischief. They leave a wake of wrecked lives and lies about God, turning their backs on the homeless hungry, ignoring those dying of thirst in the streets. And the crooks? Underhanded sneaks they are, inventive in sin and scandal, exploiting the poor with scams and lies, unmoved by the victimized poor. But those who are noble make noble plans, and stand for what is noble. 9-14 Take your stand, indolent women! Listen to me! Indulgent, indolent women, listen closely to what I have to say. In just a little over a year from now, you'll be shaken out of your lazy lives. The grape harvest will fail, and there'll be no fruit on the trees. Oh tremble, you indolent women. Get serious, you pampered dolls! Strip down and discard your silk finery's. Put on funeral clothes. Shed honest tears for the lost harvest, the failed vintage. Weep for my people's gardens and farms that grow nothing but thistles and thorn bushes. Cry tears, real tears, for the happy homes no longer happy, the merry city no longer merry. The royal palace is deserted, the bustling city quiet as a morgue, the emptied parks and playgrounds taken over by wild animals, delighted with their new home. 15-20 Yes, weep and grieve until the Spirit is poured down on us from above and the badlands desert grows crops and the fertile fields become forests. Justice will move into the badlands desert. Right will build a home in the fertile field. And where there's Right, there'll be Peace and the progeny of Right: quiet lives and endless trust. My people will live in a peaceful neighborhood—in safe houses, in quiet gardens. The forest of your pride will be clear-cut, the city showing off your power leveled. But you will enjoy a blessed life, planting well-watered fields and gardens, with your farm animals grazing freely. I read and wrote in a notebook the scripture. Now typing it. I closed the Bible again and asked the Lord what I should do now? Thinking at first this was silly to ask another question and yet knowing this would work? I needed to find exactly what He was showing me. Well, I did and the Bible opened to Song of Solomon 8:8-9, again, the first scripture I had found the Bible turned to. I didn't think it would go to the same scripture from weeks ago, what were the odds. This was not a coincidence, it gave me confidence to continue seeking an answer through the Word. I am thanking the Lord and I close and open the Bible while asking God, "Who do I need to seek for help? It opened to Psalm 19. Psalm 19 (MSG) says, 1-2 God's glory is on tour in the skies, God-craft on exhibit across the horizon. Madame Day holds classes every morning, Professor Night lectures each evening. 3-4 Their words aren't heard, their voices aren't recorded, but their silence fills the earth: Unspoken truth is spoken everywhere. 4-5 God makes a huge dome for the sun—a super dome! The morning sun's a new husband leaping from his honeymoon bed, the day breaking sun an athlete racing to the tape. 6 That's how God's Word vaults across the skies from sunrise to sunset, Melting ice, scorching deserts, warming hearts to faith. 7-9 The revelation of God is whole and pulls our lives together. The signposts of God are clear and point out the right road. The life-maps of God are right, showing the way to joy. The directions of God are plain and easy on the eyes. God's reputation is twenty-four-carat gold, with a lifetime guarantee. The decisions of God are accurate down to the nth degree. 10 God's Word is better than a diamond, better than a diamond set between emeralds. You'll like it better than strawberries in spring, better than red, ripe strawberries. 11-14 There's more: God's Word warns us of danger and directs us to hidden treasure. Otherwise how will we find our way? Or know when we play the fool? Clean the slate, God, so we can start the day fresh! Keep me from stupid sins, from thinking I can take over your work; then I can start this day sun-washed, scrubbed clean of the grime of sin. These are the words in my mouth; these are what I chew on and pray. Accept them when I place them on the morning altar, O God, my Altar-Rock, God, Priest-of-My-Altar. I closed the Bible one last time. I knew God was communicating with me. I thought who will believe this, so I asked Him what should I say to them and then opened the Bible again, this time it went to Ezekiel 24:20-24. Ezekiel 24:20-24 says: 20-21 So I told them, "God's Word came to me, saying, 'Tell the family of Israel, This is what God, the Master, says: I will desecrate my Sanctuary, your proud impregnable fort, the delight of your life, your heart's desire. The children you left behind will be killed. 22-24 "'Then you'll do exactly as I've done. You'll perform none of the usual funeral rituals. You'll get dressed as usual and go about your work. No tears. But your sins will eat away at you from within and you'll groan among yourselves. Ezekiel will be your example. The way he did it is the way you'll do it. "'When this happens you'll recognize that I am God, the Master.'" I shared this with my instructors and close friends and family. One instructor said that GOD had given her the same dream, but she had not pursued it through the Word, like I had done. Having read the book by Joy Dawson, showed me how to step out in faith, believing I would receive an answer from our GOD Almighty. As I reflect back on this revelation GOD shared with me, I like to pose the question "What and who do you think the Lord is speaking to?" Many people say it is a Word for the Church, the church has been raped. Each person had a different response. I would have to agree, GOD was speaking to the Bride of Christ. Are we as the Bride of Christ diligent with teaching the younger generation the right path and praying for them when they have slid back into sin because Satan has blinded their eyes to the truth. But, also I see in the scripture GOD telling us that we should keep our eyes upon him and when our time comes through situations in life, He will provide for us Safe Houses and quiet gardens. Also, we as Christians should help others in their time of need. There is so much that GOD has revealed in these scriptures, and reveals something new each time I read them. I would like to share this with you. As I was typing this for the first time, in 2007, it was amazing, typing the diary of GOD's response did not take long. GOD answered each question the moment it was asked. Also, there is something interesting with the original copy and the way it had turned out after printed. If you stand back from the writing, on the pages with scripture you can see the typed letters form different figures when centered. Some were candlesticks, then a cross and then a incense burner, with smoke coming out of it. GOD is Good and is forever showing us that He desires to commune with us. To GOD I give all the Glory! -Debi Webster Perry- GOD SPEAKS MY NAME: God wants us to choose to lift up our eyes and allow the Spirit of the Lord to come upon us (Numbers 24:2-3) And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him. 3 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said. Having the weekend off, I was busy cleaning house and was in my bedroom, when I heard someone say, Debi. I looked up and there was a moving banner with letters I had never seen before. These were not your normal letters. I will try to describe them the best I know how. Each letter was the color of the rainbow. It was like someone had cookie-cut letters out of a rainbow and placed it on a moving billboard. It was beautiful. It moved in the opposite direction, I read from right to left. I called my daughter and told her what had just happened, and she immediately said, the Rainbow is a Promise. I had not thought of that and it made it more beautiful. GOD speaks to each of His children in a very personal way. The Rainbow is a Picture of Jesus The colors from the bottom to the top are: Purple - Royalty - King (Ill. 1 Tim. 6:15) Blue - Heaven - He came from Heaven (Ill. John 3:13) Green - New Life - He gives life (John 14:6) Yellow - Sun Light - He is the light of the world (John 8:12) Orange - Warning - Repent!, "Ye must be born again." (John 3:3, 7; PS. 9:17) Red - Blood - The only way to God! (1 Pet. 1:18-19; Rev. 1:5) When I am under the bow, I am shielded by the Blood - High Priest - Heb. 9:7, 12 All the colors of the spectrum, even color the eye cannot see, are contained in the rainbow; and Jesus colors all of life with His great glory! When I look up, I must first see Him as the King of Glory! When He looks down, He must see the Blood of the Lord Jesus! Praise God, He never sees me as I am! (1 Cor. 6:9-11; Isa. 1:18!) There is a secondary rainbow! In it, the colors are reversed. When I See the red, I am reminded that the only way to get to Him is through the Blood of Jesus! When He looks down, He looks at men through the eyes of the King of Kings! He is Holy Righteous God. Do not be deceived, God will Judge all those outside of His Son Jesus - 1 John 5:12! I AM YOUR HUSBANDMAN: God wants to give us favor and new direction in visions of the night (Genesis 46:2) And God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I. Early in the morning, I awoke to a vision or a dream, not quite awake, but yet seeing Jesus towards the foot of my bed. The thing that had my attention was His beautiful Heart, which was blazing, and was radiating light onto me. While looking at the Heart, a voice said, "I Am Your Husbandman". Talk about feeling joy after that was over, I had an abundance of it. As I was getting out of bed, I repeated the words, "I Am Your Husbandman", and then thought, what is a Husbandman? Not long after the vision and getting ready to do some bible study, the Sunday School Director called. She told me that she had been praying for someone to fill an empty teacher position, and God gave her my name. She then asked if I would be willing to accept the position, without hesitation I told her I would be glad to. She came back with a question, "You answered with a yes without hesitation, are you sure?" And with another breath, excitedly, came back with another question, "Did God speak to you too?" I then told her the vision and that when she was explaining the situation, I knew I had been called to do something for Him. Being excited after the call, I searched for the meaning of Husbandman, the scripture was John 15:1-16. Wanting to know more I googled for the dictionary meaning on the computer. Instead it brought up a sermon from Andrew Murray, on his study of the True Vine. I would like to share it with you, it is just beautiful. -Debi Webster- Title: True Vine: Meditations for a Month on John 15:1-16 Author: Murray, Andrew (1828-1917) My Father is the Husbandman—John 15.1 A vine must have a husbandman to plant and watch over it, to receive and rejoice in its fruit. Jesus says: “My Father is the Husbandman.” He was “the vine of God’s planting.” All He was and did, He owed to the Father; in all He only sought the Father’s will and glory. He had become man to show us what a creature ought to be to its Creator. He took our place, and the spirit of His life before the Father was ever what He seeks to make ours: “Of him, and through him, and to him are all things.” He became the true Vine, that we might be true branches. Both in regard to Christ and ourselves the words teach us the two lessons of absolute dependence and perfect confidence. My Father is the Husbandman—Christ ever lived in the spirit of what He once said: “The Son can do nothing of himself.” As dependent as a vine is on a husbandman for the place where it is to grow, for its fencing in and watering and pruning. Christ felt Himself entirely dependent on the Father every day for the wisdom and the strength to do the Father’s will. As He said in the previous chapter (14:10): “The words that I say unto you, I speak not from Myself; but the Father abiding in Me doeth his works.” This absolute dependence had as its blessed counterpart the most blessed confidence that He had nothing to fear: the Father could not disappoint Him. With such a Husbandman as His Father, He could enter death and the grave. He could trust God to raise Him up. All that Christ is and has, He has, not in Himself, but from the Father. My Father is the Husbandman—That is as blessedly true for us as for Christ. Christ is about to teach His disciples about their being branches. Before He ever uses the word, or speaks at all of abiding in Him or bearing fruit, He turns their eyes heavenward to the Father watching over them, and working all in them. At the very root of all Christian life lies the thought that God is to do all, that our work is to give and leave ourselves in His hands, in the confession of utter helplessness and dependence, in the assured confidence that He gives all we need. The great lack of the Christian life is that, even where we trust Christ, we leave God out of the count. Christ came to bring us to God. Christ lived the life of a man exactly as we have to live it. Christ the Vine points to God the Husbandman. As He trusted God, let us trust God, that everything we ought to be and have, as those who belong to the Vine, will be given us from above. Isaiah said: “A vineyard of red wine; I the Lord do keep it, I will water it every moment; lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.” Ere we begin to think of fruit or branches, let us have our heart filled with the faith: as glorious as the Vine, is the Husbandman. As high and holy as is our calling, so mighty and loving is the God who will work it all. As surely as the Husbandman made the Vine what it was to be, will He make each branch what it is to be. Our Father is our Husbandman, the Surety for our growth and fruit. Blessed Father, we are Thy husbandry. Oh, that Thou mayest have honor of the work of Thy hands! O my Father, I desire to open my heart to the joy of this wondrous truth: My Father is the Husbandman. Teach me to know and trust Thee, and to see that the same deep interest with which Thou carest for and delighted in the Vine, extends to every branch, to me too. UNPEAKABLE JOY! Psalm 30:5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. JOY, Rinnah (ree-nah) A shout of rejoicing; shouting; loud cheering in triumph; singing. Rinnah describes the jubilation of the righteous when the wicked are eliminated. Zeph. 3:17 literally says that God will dance over His beloved people with singing or a shout of joy. Rinnah may best be illustrated by the testimony of the redeemed, returning to Zion from captivity. Rinnah is a word for both singing and joy. (NSFL) This morning I woke up to the words "Unspeakable Joy". What a way to wake up! It was not just "Joy", but "Unspeakable Joy". When God speaks, not only do you hear the word spoken, but it radiates through your body. It literally puts JOY into your whole being! I just laid there, soaking up the "Unspeakable Joy" and began thanking Him for it. Then I prayed that my children would feel the "Unspeakable Joy" the Lord was giving to me and that they would know the good things the Lord gives His beloved. Then I thought, I need to share this "Unspeakable Joy" with others. I pray that LORD, YHVH GOD, will give you all "Unspeakable Joy". Our GOD has enough JOY for everyone. Amen Isaiah 12:3,4 (MSG) 3-4 Joyfully you'll pull up buckets of water from the wells of salvation. And as you do it, you'll say, "Give thanks to God. Call out his name. Ask him anything! Shout to the nations, tell them what he's done, spread the news of his great reputation! Praise here means to "Lift up You Hands" in adoration to the LORD. A beautiful expression suitable for JOYOUS Worship. -Debi Webster Perry- BITTEN BY A SPIRIT OF WITCHCRAFT God wants us to lift our eyes up and to interact with His warrior angels (Joshua 5:13) And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? All of the dreams the LORD gives us are not pleasant to have and we just don't understand them. That is why we should always pray that the Holy Spirit will give us all understanding on what GOD is telling us. Also the Word says to seek the power of the Holy who gives us all Discernment of Spirits, Word of Knowledge and Word of Wisdom, that we test the spirits. "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of GOD..." (I John 4:1) Through the night I woke to hearing myself crying out in pain, "I am a Child of GOD." The pain was going from the right side of my neck down to my right toe quickly. I could not move. As I spoke these words again the pain stopped. Laying there in shock of what had just happened, I remembered feeling the sensation of something biting me on the neck. After that bite, my spirit immediately went into a battle mode, and claimed I was a "Child of GOD". I quickly went to the mirror to see if I had a bite on my neck. As I searched for anything that showed evidence of a bite, there was nothing to be found. I knew something had bitten me, and it felt like something big. As I climbed back in bed I said a thank you to the Lord for the Holy Spirit who gave me the words to say, and prayed for a hedge of protection around me and then my family. Even though I was shaken up, I did go back to sleep. As I woke the next morning, I moved to one side and I was in a lot pain. The pain was not like the pain when I was bit that night, that bite was like something injected me. Now it was a pain like my body had been wounded and very sore when I moved. In fact, it hurt all day long, I will never forget the feeling. I went through the day claiming, "By His Stripes I am Healed". Later, that evening my daughter called me and in the conversation she asked me if I had seen the new vampire movie, "Twilight". I said, no and hadn't heard about it. She told me they had gone to see it the night before and told me my granddaughter just loved it. My thoughts went to the experience I had the night before. GOD was showing me something evil was coming into our family which was going to make an impact to my family. GOD through His Holy Spirit has shown me many supernatural things in the Spirit. I have been told that when you have a supernatural experience like this, it is something the Lord is forewarning you about and He wants you to diligently pray against it. Also, pray that the Holy Spirit will give you wisdom and revelation on what you did just experience. The Word says, in Daniel 10:10-18, And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels. Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. (MSG) YHVH GOD CHANGING LIVES We are to have pen and paper ready to write our dreams and visions (Habakkuk 2:2) And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. September 16, 2010 - In this dream I'm participating and it is snowing. I'm driving in a car and park in the back of the house this time (east), knowing something would happen if I parked in front. Also, I know I am in a rough neighborhood. The dream switches and now I'm inside the house looking out the window (west), behind a sheer curtain, but, I open it at the corner to view two cars colliding. I say, "I knew that would happen. The Lord always tells me what is going to happen before it happens." Someone is with me, but not sure who. Then the dream switches and I am observing now. It is still snowing. A man driving from the north looses control of his motorcycle (he is dressed in biker clothes). The bike travels to a house with a washing machine on the porch. As he is traveling, he looses his clothes, they fly trough the air and then he collides into the washing machine. The lid is open and he falls in and gets washed. The dream switches again, I am now observing a family coming out of the house onto the porch. This is the same house that had the washing machine on the porch. They are slobs and very mean to each other. As I look at each person they change. They all now have a bright glow upon them and have literally changed for the better. Each person is now loving and kind to each other. Then I wake up. I kid you not, when I woke up I rebuked this dream, and I told myself I was not going to record a dream like that. I keep a notebook by my bedside to record my dreams and no way was I going to record it. As I was walking to the bathroom I was laughing, it was a hilarious dream. Walking back to bed I realized this dream had meaning, the Holy Spirit just gave me the revelation on this dream and I began writing it down onto paper. As I wrote, the meaning unfolded and it ended up being a beautiful salvation story. It was a story of a man who at one point in his life was a biker, he had true repentance and his life was miraculously changed. His life changing miracle becomes like a drop in a pond going to his whole family changing their lives. They each will shine for the Lord as a testimony of how only GOD can take something in His hands and mold it into something beautiful. With this dream GOD gave me a deeper understanding of His interpretation of a dream and the fleshly interpretation. Thank You, LORD. THE LION AND THE LAMB God will give us boldness and confidence to speak (Acts 18:9) Then spoke the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace. In Revelation 5, John himself is confronted with two very different images of Jesus back to back. The vision God gives him, puts right next to each other, two views of Jesus: Jesus as the Lion of Judah; Jesus as the slain yet living Lamb. The Setting Recall that in Revelation 4, John sees a vision of throne room of God. In this room, God is right at the center. Around Him, praising Him, are four living creatures, representing everything that has breath. Around them are 24 more thrones, with 24 elders seated on them. These elders seem to represent all the redeemed of all time. They acknowledge that everything they have, all their rewards, all their accomplishments come from God. So they praise Him as the source of all, the creator, the One who freely chose to create. God is supreme, God is central. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?" 3 And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it, 4 and I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. Rev. 5:2-4 The Lion And one of the elders said to me, "Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals." Revelation 5:5 There is one who is worthy! There is one member of the human race who has not sinned: The Lion of the tribe of Judah! Why is Jesus called a lion? Lions are powerful and dangerous. Lions are majestic - even in Jesus’ day, the lion was a symbol of royalty. This is a specific reference to the prophecy that Jacob gave about the descendants of Judah in Genesis 49: 9 Judah is a lion's cub; from the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down; he crouched as a lion and as a lioness; who dares rouse him? 10 The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples. Genesis 49:9-10 “The scepter shall not depart from Judah” – and thus his kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom. “To him shall be the obedience of the peoples” – and thus every tribe and tongue and people and language will serve Him. Since Jesus is a descendant of Judah, all this is fulfilled in the images of Revelation 5. The angel also refers to Jesus as the “Root of David”. This term comes from Isaiah 11 (although there He is called the “Root of Jesse”, David’s father): There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. 2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. 3 And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD. He shall not judge by what his eyes see, or decide disputes by what his ears hear, 4 but with righteousness he shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall kill the wicked. 5 Righteousness shall be the belt of his waist, and faithfulness the belt of his loins. . . . the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. 10 In that day the root of Jesse, who shall stand as a signal for the peoples- of him shall the nations inquire, and his resting place shall be glorious. Isaiah 11:1-5, 9b-10 This passage pictures a perfect king, a king who will bring justice to the poor and the weak, a king who will punish the wicked by killing them with the breath of his lips, and striking the earth with the rod of his mouth. So John expects to see a mighty, powerful, majestic Lion. He expects to see one who is able to overcome all opposition! This is the person he expects to take the scroll. But that is not what he sees at all: The Lamb John hears a description of the Lion – then looks, and sees something completely different. This happens several times in Revelation. The contrast sheds light on the character of what is heard and has seen. And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Revelation 5:6 The Lamb must be spotless. Otherwise, the Lamb would have to die for His own sins. But since Jesus was sinless, He was the perfect sacrifice. As the book of Hebrews says: in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15 He did not have to die for His sins. So He was able to take on the sins of all those who believe in Him. The Lamb of God, the Lion of Judah, is God Himself! He is worthy of worship! He is the second person in the Trinity! Lion and Lamb Jesus is the Lion and the Lamb. He is the King, coming to wreak vengeance on His enemies; He is the gentle lamb, dying for His people. As Isaiah writes: Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. 11 He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young. (Isaiah 40:10-11) He comes to rule, He comes to pay back His enemies; He comes to gently carry His lambs. See Him in His entirety! See Him in ALL His glory! Don’t try to tame Him, to limit Him, to box Him in! Love Him as the Lamb, dying for your sin! Love Him as the Lion, with all authority, might, and power! Love Him as the bridegroom, coming for His church! Love Him as the conquering, vengeful King with the bloody robe! Love the complete Christ – and rejoice that He is king. Bits and Pieces of a sermon by Coty Pinckney. Judah (in Hebrew: Yehuda) is the original name of the Tribe of Judah - traditionally symbolized by a lion. In Genesis, the patriarch Jacob ("Israel") refers to his son Judah as a Gur Aryeh גּוּר אַרְיֵה יְהוּדָה , a "Young Lion" (Genesis 49:9) when blessing him.[1] In Jewish naming tradition the Hebrew name and the substitute name are often combined as a pair, as in this case. ~See Current Dreams/Visions/Holy Spirit/ on Home Tab of My Glimpses of Heaven with Divine Guidance

How a doctor's glimpses of eternity confirmed everything he believed about God, suffering, life on earth, and what happens after death. Dr. Chauncey Crandall knows his patients well. When they are dying, he sits at the bedside with them and holds their hands. He prays with them. Sometimes he can feel what they feel and see what they see. At other times his patients have near-death experiences and "come back" with astonishing descriptions of the afterlife. In TOUCHING HEAVEN, Dr. Crandall reveals how what he has seen and heard has convinced him that God is real, that we are created for a divine purpose, that death is not the end, that we will see our departed loved ones again, and that we are closer to the next world than we think. ISBN: 978-1-4143-8045-2 CHAPTER 1 THE PATIENT SEPTEMBER 2011 ASHLAND CITY HOSPITAL, ASHLAND CITY, TENNESSEE He was an eighty-two-year-old, proud Alabama boy, lying in the intensive care unit, and while I didn't yet know his time of death, I already knew the cause. For more than a year, he had been struggling with myelodysplastic syndrome—his bone marrow had stopped producing the blood cells needed to fight off infection. He was immunocompromised and had developed a severe staph infection that was almost impossible to treat. His body had become septic, and the inflammation was devastating his organs. I knew his days were numbered, but I couldn't stand the thought of his passing. I had known him all my life. He was a teacher and a farmer—intelligent and determined, proud and stubborn. He was also a man of great faith. He didn't see any reason to prolong his life on earth past the purpose God had for him. Like many of my elderly patients, he believed that he had an appointment with heaven and that Jesus was waiting for him on the other side. As a doctor, I've seen what happens to the patient whose loved ones hang on too long. They desperately cling to their family member, demanding that doctors use extraordinary means to keep that person here when, really, the dying believer just wants to slip gently to the other side. Sometimes doctors can postpone a patient's death for weeks or months, but it often involves drastic measures with the person being kept alive by machines and feeding tubes. The patient's quality of life isn't what relatives expect when they initially make the decision, and it's rarely what a patient desires. Whenever God called him home, he was ready. I didn't want this patient kept alive by machines, and he didn't want it either. But I had good reasons to lengthen his life. He had a close, extended family, some of whom lived out of town and wanted a chance to say goodbye. With intensive medical intervention, I could postpone his death long enough to allow them the opportunity to see him one last time. His family wasn't ready to let him go, and I understood that in the most intimate way possible. I wasn't ready for him to be gone either. I thought of other deaths I had witnessed—including an unforgettable experience that happened while I was a medical resident. * * * Throughout medical school I had taken care of dying patients, but this was the first time that I, as the senior resident, would be the one in charge when a patient died. I didn't know what to expect. "Dr. Anderson," the elderly woman began, her voice starting to fade. "Will you hold my hand? I'm going to see Jesus, and I need an escort." That night, I experienced the veil parting—the veil that separates this life from the next. As I held the dying woman's hands, I felt the warmth of her soul pass by my cheek when it left her body, swept up by an inexplicably cool breeze in an otherwise stagnant room. I smelled the familiar fragrance of lilac and citrus, and I knew the veil was parting to allow her soul to pass through. Since that first patient, I've walked with countless others to the doorstep of heaven and watched them enter paradise. On many occasions, as I held hands with the dying, God allowed me to peer into heaven's entryway where I watched each patient slip into the next world. I've sensed Jesus on the other side, standing in heaven's foyer, welcoming the dead who are made whole again. I've glimpsed surreal colors and sights and heard sounds more intense than anything I've ever experienced in this ordinary world. I've inhaled the scents of lilac, citrus, freshly carved cedar, and baking bread—more fragrant than I ever thought possible. Sometimes I've even witnessed patients leave this world and come back. As they've shared their stories with me, I've often remembered the time early in my life when God allowed me to step into heaven's foyer, even though I no longer believed he was real. The one thing these experiences have in common is the intensity of the sights, sounds, fragrances, and feelings that I sensed. Heaven is more real than anything we experience here, and the sense of peace, joy, and overwhelming love is beyond description. * * * Memories of other dying patients, as well as my personal glimpses into heaven, drifted through my mind as I sat at my patient's bedside in the ICU that day. I had every confidence that what awaited him would be more joyous than anything he'd ever experienced. But, selfishly, I wasn't ready to see him disappear through the opening. As the attending physician, the family looked to me for guidance. I could recommend a blood transfusion that would prolong his life for a few more days; with several transfusions, maybe I could extend it a week or more. Or I could let him go. Either way, I knew that he and his family would listen to me and do what I suggested. I had a difficult decision to make, and my medical decisions were complicated by what my patients and I had experienced on heaven's side of the veil. But my struggle was even greater because of who I was. I wasn't just the patient's physician—I was also his son. (Continues...)
