This listing is for a set of 2 botanical prints of my original Day Lilies herbarium specimen pressed flower artwork. They were made from high-resolution scans and are printed on natural (light ivory) colored heavy-weight acid-free paper for archival quality. The original herbarium specimens were created on 11 x 14 inches herbarium paper, but these prints are available in 8 x 10 inches each as well as 11 x 14 each. Though a common garden plant, day lilies frequently escape from cultivation. The lilies used in this original artwork, however, were gathered from some good friends' family farm in the beautiful Oregon countryside. This listing is for a set of prints, but the following is a description of the original specimens: These herbarium-grade specimens are professional and artistic presentations of Hemerocallis fulva (orange day lily) which were collected in Oregon. They were collected by a trained, degreed professional (please see my personal profile). A complete collection label is included in the standard location on the bottom right corner of the front of the specimen adding to its scientific appeal; thus, they are right in line with current decorating trends.

I en liten by vid namn L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue som sägs vara antikhandlarnas Mekka näst efter Paris sprang jag in i en antikbutik där det här fantastiska Herbariet hängde på väggen. […]
