Good Afternoon Everyone Happy Saturday!! Today I'm taking part in the Ink Stamp Share Showcase blog hop where we get to share any project we have been making. I've decided to share my card using these cut Hippos, which are Salebration Rewards. The stamp set is one reward, the coordinating dies a second. So you can get both for free until the end of August! Measurements Daffodil Delight Card Stock 1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8" Basic White card Stock 1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" Scraps Wonderful World DSP 1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" Scraps of Pacific Point, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody and polished Pink card Stock. --------------------------------------------------- Take the Daffodil Delight card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the basic white panel to the inside. Stamp the hippos in memento on some scrap basic white and colour with your Stampin Blends Bring in your cut and emboss machine and cut the following using the dies.... - cut out the two hippos - cut a selection of flowers from Mango Melody and Polished Pink Pink Stock - cut a few of the leaves in Granny Apple green card - cut two lengths of garden green card using the wavy die. These need to be at least 5 5/8" in length to fit along the card front. Take these strips and add to the DSP, running one flush with the bottom, and the other one tucked behind slightly higher up. Trim off any overhang so it's all neat and tidy. Add this panel to the card front. Stamp the sentiments onto a scrap of basic white and cut out with the rectangular postage punch. Also cut two of these shapes on Pacific point. Add these to the back of the sentiment, making sure you having even edges at either side. Add the hippos to the card front with dimensionals, then place the sentiment in the centre towards the top. Bring back your die cut Flowers and leaves and arrange on the grass. I hope you have enjoyed my card today, please take a look at the list below and continue through the hop for lots more inspiration Blog Hop Index If you are on Facebook, why not pop over and check out our community group Craft & Banter. Quick post today sharing the latest TGIF Challenge! It is one of my favorite kinds of challenges...a SKETCH Challenge! This is such a great way to get the creative juices flowing. And you can stick to it exact or make some changes. Here is the card I made...then I will show you the sketch! Colors: Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana, Gray Granite, Basic Black, Basic White Inks: Coastal Cabana, Memento Black, Versamark, BLENDS: Gray Granite, Polished Pink, Parakeet Party, Melon Mambo Cardstock/Papers: Basic Black, Basic White, 2021-2023 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper Stamps: Hippest Hippos Tools: Hippo Dies, Beautiful Shapes Dies, Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Blending Brush Accessories: Basics Embossing Powders, Adhesive-Backed Sequins & Gems Don't you LOVE these cute Hippos from the Sale-A-Bration brochure?! They were pretty fun to craft with, if I do say so myself. Haha. And here is the card sketch for the week! So you can see...I followed the sketch, but made a few tweaks. I moved the banner piece up under the focal point, used a hexagon instead of a circle and changed the size of the front cardstock piece. The hexagon I cut out from the Beautiful Shapes Dies and used a Blending Brush to add some Coastal Cabana color. I colored the hippos with Blends...can I just say how much I LOVE these markers?! They color so beautifully! I didn't do any blending of the colors...just used the two different shades to color them in. 😍 There is the cutest die set that you can also get from the Sale-A-Bration brochure that coordinates with the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set. Has some super cute and fun elements. And this flower was part of it! I just cut some out and added them to the background with sequins on top. This was such a fun & cheery card to do! I hope you enjoy it too! Now head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog & play along with us this week! Can't wait to see what you make! Thank you so much for visiting! Please let me know if you have any questions or need help getting your hands on these products or any other Stampin' Up! products...just let me know!
