Hello, crafty friends. We have a new challenge for you to play along with at Sunday Stamps! and this week's pastel colors said Easter to me, so here's what I made using the Hold on to Hope stamp set and matching Cross of Hope Framelits. I love the Hold on to Hope stamp set. It is definitely a great stamp set to have for covering not only Easter, but sympathy, confirmation and the like. I will be keeping this one for a long time. :) I first made a circle template using a Post It Note and then then sponged in Highland Heather, Pool Party and then Balmy Blue inks around my circle. I then removed the circle and put the negative of the Post It Note around the circle and sponged in Daffodil Delight ink. The cute little butterflies are from the Butterfly Beauty Framelits and I was able to die cut out 10 at a time since there are SO many framelits in this set. Here's the color challenge at Sunday Stamps! Aren't these colors just gorgeous together? Why not give it a try and play along with us! Card creations need to be submitted to the Sunday Stamps! challenge blog by Friday, April 5, 2019. I am so glad I purchased the Hold on to Hope Bundle. I originally purchased it to make sympathy cards for my Mum with a further idea for Communion cards for my son. However, I’ve also used the bundle to make a gorgeous piece of home decor earlier this month and today, I’ve used the Hold on to Hope bundle for a beautiful Easter card. I’m afraid as I looked through… Read More »
Hello! Welcome to another Fancy Friday hop! This is only my second time hopping with these lovely gals and I'm already 45 minutes behind schedule! I hope you didn't miss me the first time. We are a group of current and past SU Artisan Design Team members. This week there are 12 of us - so make sure to visit us all and pin your favorites! Each month on the last Friday, we will bring to you new challenges of all kinds (color, sketch, stamp focus, etc)! This month we were to create at least 2 very fancy cards WITH coordinating envelopes of your themed choice and support the “Mail a Card Monday” challenge! The idea is to stamp your cards over the weekend and then mail them out on each Monday. I know I get behind on birthday cards, but find myself sending more and more "thinking of you" cards. Here are a few that I've made using the Hold On to Hope Bundle. I absolutely love this bundle and hope you do too! Next up is my lovely friend Marisa Gunn! Have a wonderful weekend! Get some stamping done and fill your outgoing mailbox Monday morning! :) -Holly

Come closer. Closer..I have a secret to tell you. Setting up your very own war binder doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. Yep, it's true. If you aren't familiar with the term "war binder",
Oh Springtime! It is feeling like it is Florida! We are planting flowers in the yard this weekend! For this sketch over at casethissketch.blogspot.com I started with the Springtime foil DSP and I used my sponge roller/brayer to roll lots of Powder Pink ink on the paper. It is not dark but gives it a soft feel especially with the metallics. I used a gold doily and then added some Rich Razzleberry card stock behind as well as for the base of the card. I stamped the flowers from Southern Serenade set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with my Stampin Blends in Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. I stamped the sentiment from Hold On To Hope set in Razzleberry, too. I like how it turned out and hope you can play along with this sketch challenge this week. Thanks for stopping by! My first with the new Painted Seasons set. I stamped the flowers in Calypso Coral and Grapefruit Grove plus the leaves in Old Olive ink. I cut them with the matching dies called Four Seasons dies and then added them on a Very Vanilla stitched rectangles. I stamped the sentiment from the Hold Onto Hope set on a vanilla banner in Coral ink and finished it off with the grapefruit gems. I added all this to a sticthed rectangle piece of Tea Room DSP before laying on a Very Vanilla base. Hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Easter! My card today uses the Hold on to Hope Bundle. It is for our friend's birthday next week. She is a Godly woman, a Christian counselor and our Sunday School teacher. I love her for many reasons but especially because she saves all my cards! I was inspired by Wendy Lee and I'm giving you a link to her instructions because I don't need to "reinvent the wheel". You can download her pdf here. Her's is called a vertical stretch card but in my case, I guess I've invented the horizontal stretch card! It's quite similar to a Z fold, but yet not! I followed her instructions but decided to change mine to landscape; when I did a mock up, my card couldn't stand up and I wanted it to do that. Another thing I did differently was spray the back of the cross with Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky spray and adhered it to the Vellum. I have adhesive sheets but for something this small and only one item, I didn't want to take the time. I also had to make my center sentiment smaller so it didn't show beyond the top panel when closed. One thing is for sure, I need a staging area other than the kitchen counter! Our dining room and living room are surrounded by windows and I haven't found that area great for taking pictures. I'll speak to Santa about it :-) Maybe he'll buy me a new house...lol! Unfortunately, this Designer Series Paper was one of the free ones from Sale-A-Bration, which ended yesterday. BUT, the stamp set and other products are still available. If you would like to order anything, just click on the pictures below. I'd love to be your demonstrator and help unleash your creativity! If you are interested in the DSP, I do have an unopened package! If you have any questions, just leave me a comment and I'll get back to you. Yes, I made even more cards with Hold on to Hope. This set will remain in my personal collection for years to come. I LOVE the images and the dies are perfect for me to create the cards and gifts I need. I used Calypso Coral and Basic Gray for this set of cards. The ribbon on this first card was colored with the dark Calypso Coral Blend marker. Being able to make the colored ribbon that I want on a project is the perfect way to use those Blends! This is a fairly simple card. I stamped the vine image in Basic Gray on Basic Gray card stock. Then I stamped the cross with Calypso Coral and the Bible verse with Basic Gray on the oval die cut. I added rhinestones for a little glitz. The embossing folder on the Calypso Coral card stock is called Coastal Weave. I was surprised it was on the retiring list. The texture is awesome! I die cut the vine and butterfly. TIP: To get the two colors on the vine, use your markers. I colored the vine with my Basic Gray marker and the flowers with Calypso Coral marker. Then huff on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamp. I hope you have looked over the retiring list. You really don't want to miss out and Stampin' Up! is no longer guaranteeing the availability of stamp sets. When they sell out, they are gone. Happy Stampin'! Card Number two I will be submitting to the challenge at: CAS(E) This Sketch The stamp sets featured in this card are: Stampin Up: Itty Bitty Greetings Stampin Up: Hold on to Hope I really can't even tell you the amount of times I die-cut the cross, I had so many colors and ideas and nothing was turning out like I had hoped, until this one. SO in away it was a small miracle, and I don't mean that in a not nice way. I was very pleased it finally worked out. Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Keep Smiling and Keep Stamping PJ
The Hold on to Hope Bundle is a great stamp set and coordinating set of framelits for creating sympathy, get well, confirmation, wedding and Easter cards.
Hello and Welcome to another awesome post for Colour Inkspiration. For our 30th challenge the colours are: Soft Sky, Cherry Cobbler, Fresh Fig, Island Indigo and Pumpkin Pie For this challenge I've pulled out the lovely Hold on to Hope stamp set - it hasn't seen much action so far at my craft table, but it is a really lovely set, and the coordinating Cross of Hope dies are just gorgeous. This card features some colouring on the branches using the Stampin' Write Markers - this is such an easy way to have a multi coloured image! I really enjoyed using these great greetings for my card - both inside and outside. Keep hopping around all of the design team - these colours really inspired some amazing creativity from everyone this time! Next up is the lovely Rachel and her super sweet bicycle. Please join in the fun by adding your project to the fantastic lineup on our facebook challenge page. Until Next Time, Happy Stamping, Love Julia x Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!)
