Horses have always been a big love of mine. So naturally, when I went to pick up a camera, my equine friends were the first ones to stand in front of it. But my photos lacked something, I could not quite put my finger on.
This article originally appeared in Eclectic Horseman Issue No.16 “I have spent most of my life around horses. When I was growing up, my family farmed. We put our crops in and out with horses. Horses have always been a part of my life,” said Ray Hunt in his opening words to a crowd of...

Each horseshoe design is special to the artist and made with much love, and intricately painted and decorated by hand. Every horseshoe is of authentic size and is taken straight from the horse’s hoof. They are standard size and are custom to the shape of the hoof it came from. Each horseshoe has been carefully cleaned. Included is a personalized heartfelt message of your choice to choose from one of the seven samples shown. I have always had a love and passion for horses and detailed art, so it’s natural that the two of these go together. Country at heart with a love for life, happiness and good fortune, I went to work fulfilling my passion of creating vibrant detailed art. While the history of horseshoes is all about bringing good luck, they can be used as in-home, fence line, stable wall, or barn door decorations and more. The horseshoe is sure to compliment any place they are hung. Attached to each of these pieces of art is a rope, string or ribbon to hang in your favorite place. Also included at no extra cost to you are two genuine horseshoe nails to hang your newly purchased treasure.
I will be hosting some guest writers on my blog, to give you a peek at other ranch wives’ daily lives. I do not necessarily endorse every view expressed. Welcome to another guest contributor: Alina
When I was young, I admired the girls that could leap on their horses bareback and ride around without a care in the world. I was too focused on my dressage training to let myself “play” with my horses. There was a part of me that really wanted that relationship with a horse. The performances that

I have always had a passion for painting portraits and dancers, and now I live in Spain, where the opportunities are myriad! I teach art as a recreational subject. During that time I have been selling my paintings and fine art prints at my gallery in Los Montesinos for over 10 years. Please note that the frame in the pictures is not included, but for display purposes only. Quality of materials is very important with fine art prints. If a poor quality of paper and ink is used, the end result will look poor, and the prints will deteriorate over time. All my prints are produced by me to ensure quality control. I use top quality 310gsm fine art paper from Germany, which is made from fine art cotton rag and is acid free, thus meeting the strict Giclée standards. I also use professional HD pigment inks, which do not fade like dye prints will. So not only do these prints have a lovely texture and 'depth', but the detail is also outstanding. In over 10 years of selling my prints I have never had a complaint due to fading or other quality issues. I can normally dispatch your order within a couple of days. If you would like a special size, or the print framed, please contact me to discuss what you would like and for a quote. I also have long experience in undertaking commissions. Please contact me if you have a project you might like me to do for you.

"Morning Breeze" This is a print of an original pastel painting created by award winning artist, Cindy Price McMurray. Sizes available: 8x10 inch print matted to a standard 11x14 inch size so it will be easy to frame 13x18 inch print without mat Enjoy! Artwork by Cindy Price McMurray Cindy has always felt a connection with horses. Even when she was in first grade, she would draw horses in the margins of her homework. This never stopped throughout her school years, and now as a 2001 honors graduate of the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, horses still dominate her work. She lives in Bellaire, Michigan, and enjoys being in nature and interacting with all animals. In her work she strives to capture the spirit or soul of each individual animal making the artwork come alive. Horses have been her favorite subjects but she also focuses on dogs, birds, deer, or any animal that might catch her fancy. Cindy also specializes in custom animal portraits, working from photos of the pet. Cindy works mainly in pastel because she loves the feel of it, the softness she can achieve and also the ability to move it around on the paper without any brushes to get in the way. Cindy has been attending art shows and selling her work since she was thirteen years old. She has won numerous awards, mostly for her paintings of horses - her favorite subject.
